My Guest Designer: Corri!

Hi everyone, I'm Corri from Bug Lover Cards!   My friend Liz  recently had shoulder surgery.  I was happy to volunteer when she asked for some guest designers to fill in for her while she recovers.
I have a fun card for you today that I made with My Creative Time - Game Night
The Details
Scallop Ovals - Nestabilities
Charm - Epiphany Crafts Studio Shape tool
Banner Shape - Lori Whitlock
Pattern Paper - Echo Park - Happy Days

Liz has some exciting news to share with you, but not quite yet. However, in the meantime, while she's recovering, she is reading every comment! Not only is she reading them, she's counting them, because at the end of all this, she will have two announcements! The first will be a winner of some exciting BLOG CANDY! The second, it's a big one...and no, she's not coming out with stamps...you just have to wait and see!
Thanks so much for stopping by.

Thank you Corri so much for your fun card!  I truly am plying with the hand I've been dealt with...one handed right now!  :)

Enjoy!

My Guest Designer: Sukie!

Hello everyone, this is Sukie from Scrappin Dhilly and I am honored to be a guest designer for Liz from Liz's Paper Loft during her time of recovery from her surgery.  Liz is a fabulous designer and has had amazing guest designers over the last few weeks.  I am hoping I can live up to the standard set by Liz and her guest designers. Please remember to leave her some bloggy love and happy thoughts as she recovers.  If you are a regular visitor of my blog, you know that I love creating layouts to memorialize anything and everything.  I decided to create this two page 12x12 layout for my project today.
For this layout I used three different cartridges.  The stack of money and the poker chips were cut from the Father's Day seasonal cartridge at 4.0 inches.  I used Indie Art for the suits cut at 2.5 inches and the tag cut at 4.0 inches.  Black Letter was used for the title which was cut at 2.0 inches.
The die cuts were all popped up on foam dots for added dimension against the patterned background.  I also used my white gel pen to add some doodling to the die cuts and the photo mats.
I created this fun tag using the Game Night stamp set from My Creative Time which just happens to be Emma's favorite stamp of the month.  I stamped the sentiment on the tag in black ink.  Next, I stamped the cards separately in red ink and cut them out and added them to the tag.  I finished off the tag by using some coordinating twine.
I would like to thank Liz for inviting me to be a guest designer and all of you for visiting and supporting my blog.

Didn't Sukie do a FABULOUS layout!  Thank you Sukie so much for being my guest designer!

Enjoy!

My Guest Designer: Jenny!

Hi Everybody!
Jenny from Crazy About Cricut here, and I am SO SUPER EXCITED to be a guest designer for Liz, and help keep you guys from going through crafty withdrawals while her new bionic shoulder heals (ok, maybe not exactly a bionic shoulder....)!  Today I have a card using one of my favorite crafty supplies, clear craft plastic.  Here are the details:
*Create a Critter Cricut cartridge = panda and all layers
*My Creative Time = Game Night Stamp Set, I Believe in Leprechauns Stamp Set
*Timeless Twine = Olive Green
*clear craft plastic
*I love the dimension this plastic can give to a card!
*The secret to this kind of card is just to cut extra base layers.  That way you can cover any adhesive you need to use.
*I put an extra layer here, and the panda so that there is room to write a message on the inside.
*This is from the I Believe in Leprechauns Stamp Set.
*This is from the Game Night Stamp Set by My Creative Time.
What friend wouldn't feel "lucky" to get this card??  I'd like to thank you so much Liz for having me as a guest designer!!  But wait.....one more thing.....
Until Next Time,

Thank you so much Jenny for helping me out!  I'm CRAZY for your card!

Enjoy!

My Guest Designer: Sherrie!

Good Morning!  My name is Sherrie from Sherrie Scraps with Passion.  and I am so excited to be a guest designer on Liz's blog today while she is recovering from her surgery. Thanks so much Liz for having me! I am so thrilled and honored. Wishing you a speedy recovery:) Here is a card that I made using the Elegant Edges cartridge for the base of the card. I welded the two shapes using my gypsy at 5.48 x 8.60. The base layer is cut at 5.13 x 4.19. I then added a layer under the scallop which I used a Martha Stewart lacy punch for the border for some dimension along with distressing it with Tim Holtz-walnut stain. The scallops are from Spellbinders Nestibilities-Lacey Circles again distressed with Tim Holtz-walnut stain.

I then cut these fun flowers from the Flower Shoppe cartridge at 2 3/4 and the leaves at 1 1/2 and pop dotted them for more dimension. I added a fun sentiment that is from K.Andrew Designs ~Scripture Sayings. I added a fun satin bow to finish the card up.
Thanks for stopping by!

Also, Liz has some exciting news to share with you, but not quiet yet. However, in the meantime, while she's recovering, she is reading every comment. Not only is she reading them, she's counting them, because at the end of all this, she will have two announcements!! The first will be a winner of some exciting BLOG CANDY! Guest Designer: Sarah!

Hi Paper Lovers....
My super sweet crafty friend Liz from Liz's Paper Loft recently had some surgery. While she is recovering, she asked some fellow bloggers to fill in for her. I was so glad she asked me....I have been a "stalker" of her for years and recently had the chance to meet her and some of my other favorite bloggers!!! It really was one of the greatest days that I will never forget!!!!

Anywhoo....onto my project! I decided to cover and decorate one of those dollar wooden frames you can get at Michaels. They really are great to have on hand for a quick personalized gift.
I made this one for a friend of mine who loves Hello Kitty and polka dots!
Before you go......Liz has some exciting news to share with you, but not quite yet.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you feel better my sweet Liz!!!

Guest Designer: Amy!

Hello everyone!!  I am excited to be today's guest designer for Liz here at Liz's Paper Loft.  My name is Amy and I have a blog called Scrapping Mommy.  I have known Liz, through blogging, for a couple of years now and I just love her style.  I also recently joined her on the super talented My Creative Time design team.  Since Liz didn't get to share with you the new release at My Creative Time (which I know she really is so sad to miss), I am going to share a card that I made with the new You Are Perk-fect stamp set.
I used my Cricut and the Love you a Latte cartridge to cut out this to-go coffee cup.  I welded two of the cups together in Cricut Craft Room and then sewed all the edges together with my sewing machine.

The label is cut and stamped from My Creative Time's Fancy Frame Stamp & Die Set.  I then stamped the sentiment along with two of the cute little coffee beans inside of that and adhered it to the front of the cup with some dimensional adhesive.

I added a smaller to-go coffee cup to slip inside the two larger ones and added then the lid to the top of it so that it could easily be pulled out.  I also stamped another sentiment from the You Are Perk-fect stamp set to the inside of the card and tied the top off with some Cappuccino bakers twine from The Twinery.

I hope that I have inspired you to pull out some stamps and your Cricut and get crafting today......it is national craft month after all!!  If you would like to see more of my paper crafting creations, hop on over to my blog: http://www.scrappingmommy.com

Guest Designer: Cassandra!

Hello everyone!  This is Cassandra from Creating with Color by Cassandra and I'm so excited to be filling in for Liz today. She is my amazing and super talented teammate on the My Creative Time ~ Design Team and I was more than happy to help her out while she is recovering from surgery.  I have no doubt that by now she is having some major crafting withdrawals  :(  Especially because this week is Sneak Peek Week over at My Creative Time and I know Liz will be soooo bummed that she is not able to participate.  So in order to make sure she didn't miss out on too much, I made this card with some of Emma's new stamps from this month's release.

I decided to go with a simple and classic look today instead of the colorful rainbow kick I have been on lately...lol.  The black and the off-white cardstock are from Recollections.  The kraft colored cardstock is from Joann's.

The super neat background stamps for all four squares in the background are from the brand new My Creative Time ~ Coffee Break stamp set.  (Notice that the upper right square and lower left square are the same stamp - I just used it twice).  The coffee cup stamp in the center is from another brand new release this month the My Creative Time ~ You Are Perk-fect stamp set.  I popped it up a little with some pop dots for dimension.  All of the ink is black ~ Ranger Archival Ink.
Now for those of you who don't really know me, I'm a "little OCD" - ok maybe "a lot OCD" depending on who you talk to...hee hee.  So I tend to like clean lines and symmetrical layouts.  So if any of you are a little like me, then you might like this tip.  To punch the smaller squares inside of the black squares, I used the Creative Memories ~ double square punch (the larger square of the two).  It fits these stamps perfectly!  Then for the black squares, I used an EK Success square punch - it's the pink one that I think measures 1 3/4 inches.

This super sweet sentiment is also from the My Creative Time ~ You Are Perk-fect stamp set.  I just love the fun font.  The heart stamp is from the My Creative Time ~ My One & Only stamp set.

Well, that's it for me!  Super clean & simple with classic neutral tones.  Not my usual colors of the rainbow...lol...but I think it turned out nice.  I hope you all like it.  And if you want to see more of the new My Creative Time ~ March Stamp Release, make sure you head on over to Emma's blog at  My Creative Time so that you can start at the beginning of our super fun Blog Hop today!

Now I hear that ~ Liz has some exciting news to share with you, but not quite yet.

So make sure you all leave her some fun comments to read to keep her busy during her recovery!  And a big, gigantic THANK YOU to Liz for giving me the opportunity to fill in for her today...it was lots and lots of fun!  I'm wishing you a super speedy recovery my friend!  Hang in there...YOU CAN DO IT!!!

Thanks, Cassandra, for your FABULOUS project and help during my recovery!

Guest Designer: Kim!

Good Morning! My name is Kim from Scrapin Mom Of One Inspiring Little Boy . I was beyond thrilled and excited when Liz from Liz's Paper Loft asked me to Guest Design on her blog. I know I don't have to tell you all how creative, talented and sweet she is! We share a common love ~ houndstooth! Anyway ~ Liz is recovery from surgery. Please make sure you leave her some love and encouraging words to lift her spirits. I am sure they will brighten her day! So for my card today I wanted to use a color I generally don't work with! So I chose to use the color orange. My son LOVES this color and is always asking me to make something orange. So I thought to myself ~ why not! I made this card for a friend who has been under the weather lately and I hope this lifts her spirits! I just got the Flower Shoppe cartridge and have yet to really play with it. If you have been to my blog before ~ I LOVE flowers! I think they are so beautiful and fun to work with. Plus I really need Spring to come ...FAST! After I finished my card, I realized it has Halloween written all over it! But I have to say, I really like how this turned out despite that fact! LOL!

Materials Used:
Cricut Cartridge ~ Flower Shoppe ~ cut @ 3 1/2
My Creative Time ~ Script Type Backgrounds ~ background and flowers
My Creative Time ~ Teeny Tag Greetings  w/ Teeny Tag Dies ~ dies and sentiments
Paper ~ Paper Trey Ink and Recollections

Guest Designer: Jen!

Hi, my name is Jen from Simply Chic Design by jen. How exciting to be a guest designer on Liz's blog today while she is recovering from her surgery.  Wishing you a speedy recovery Liz :) Here is a fun little card I made using Emma's stamp set from My Creative Time (Color Me Happy) and stamp from Penny Black. I love to create with stamps more than anything....:)

To make this card I used Emma's from My Creative Time tag die on the inside. I also used pattern paper from Lost & Found My Mind's Eye 6x6 paper pack. Also recollection pearls from Michael's Craft Store. I cut a piece of pattern paper and made her dress. I then used my copic markers to color her in. The white card stock is PTI paper. I hope you liked her because I sure did have fun making this card. :)

Also, Liz has some exciting news to share with you, but not quite yet. However, in the meantime, while she's recovering, she is reading every comment!
