Yosemite Layout and Special Treat For You!

Oh Happy Friday Paper Lovers!

I am SOOO glad it's Friday!  How about you?   We've had a bit of a cool spell this past week.  Only in the 80's, however, this weekend it's suppose to get HOT again!  Thank goodness our pool will back in working order tomorrow.  We unexpectedly had to have some major work done :(   I'll post some before and after pictures next week.  I'm hoping that with this remodel, I'll be using it more frequently!

Now that I've bored you with my stuff, I have a special treat for you.  My Creative Time is having a Customer Appreciation Sale!  So be sure to use the code "THANKU" to get 20% off your entire purchase.  Emma just wanted to say thank you for all the prayers and well wishes for her son and family!

I also wanted to share a layout of my trip to Yosemite!  Can you believe I just went last week for the first time and I already have a layout completed?!

I added a bit of stickles to the mountains and to the bear's badge.

I just need to add the journaling!
Don't you just love these paper pins from Tim Holtz, I don't know if that's the correct name :)
I ran the badge and the letters through the embossing folder.

This is an 8x8 layout

Hello Everyone!

And a happy Monday to you!  I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!  Mine was busy and relaxing at the same time.  I got a lot of things done, but also did somethings for myself!  I'm not going to keep you too long with my stuff since there is alot to see and this is my first of two posts today!

This week's challenge at My Creative Time is a sketch challenge and to incorporate any type of "Fibers" onto our layout! example: jute, burlap, twine, hemp etc...Good thing I just happen to know where I can get some fibers and trims! :)

I hope you don't get tired of see layouts without photos.  I made this for a wedding we will be going to this weekend!  It will be the first time I've had my girls together since Christmas. As they get older, it's harder to get a family picture!  So I'm planning ahead!

Lacy Labels Cricut Cartridge
 curly label cut at 7.5
oval label cut at 3.0 and 3.20

I'll have another post later this morning, so I hope you come back!  In fact I will have a new post everyday this week!  I've been on a creative roll!

Family Rules "Subway" Sign

Oh I'm so happy it's Saturday!  I have a full day planned! Of what you ask?  Cleaning and crafting!  Next week I'm in a week long blog hop that I have to get ready for, plus someother projects!

Well, I have been wanting a European Subway Sign for a long time.  Then one day I saw a "Family Rules" sign in the same style on Pinterest (which I'm still not quite sure I understand) and just loved it!  Then last week or so on the Circle Blog, they had the same sign up along with their take on it.  I thought, that's it, I'm making one.  So YES, I completely "scraplifted" this entire project!  However, I did make a video to show exactly how to do it.  Now you can make your own "family rules" sign!

I did fail to mention in the video that I used my gypsy to create the whole layout on the 12 x 24 mat.
