MCT February Release Sneak Peek Day 1 ~ big hugs!

Today is Day 1 of My Creative Time's February Release Sneak Peeks!  

Well I think you're going to fall in love with this sweet little set of stamps and dies.

For my card I started with stamping the image with Antique Linen distress ink to create the "no line" watercolor effect.  Next I watercolored the bunnies.  I felt it was way too soft, so I softly sketched the lines back in with a 0.03(very thin) Copic Multi Liner pen.   Wow, that made it POP!

The rest was very simple die cutting :)

For my first card I used the stencil with Glimmer Mist, after it was dry I used a rectangle die to cut the panel.  After the hearts were stamped I die cut them, added wink of stella and glossy accents.

The small white panel and hearts were popped up with foam tape.

For the panel I did some light ink blending then added the clouds using the stencil.  Next I sprinkled water and used a paper towel to remove some of the drops.  I then used one of the sentiments stamps and roughly stamped it all over the panel.  Lastly I inked the edges with black.

For the lady die I cut three times and glued together.  I heat embossed with clear a couple of times, then used the pewter power and embossed about three times.  I purposely over heated it to get the bubbling aged effect.  I finished it off by adding the embossed sentiment, ribbon, and button.

For the background on the pumpkin paper I used the Get Schooled paper stamp for a bit more interest.  Next I randomly stamped the leaf layers then added Nuvo drops in different colors.

MCT November Release Sneak Peek Day 3 ~ give thanks!

Hi it's day 3 of My Creative Time November Release Sneak Peeks!  I hope you've enjoyed the week so far.   Today I'm sneak peeking Thank You & Frame dies.

If you've followed me for awhile now, then you know I used to make all my cards with tons of layers and bows.  Then at some point I started making them with less bulk...rarely bows and buttons.  So today's card was really fun to make.  Clean and simple cards are actually hard for me to do...I'm always fighting the urge to add more stuff. 

Isn't the yellow embossed frame pretty!  After I die cut the leaves, I inked the edges of all them (another thing I rarely do now).  For the "give" stamp I used the masking technique.

MCT Throwback Thursday "Do-Over" ~ merci!

Hello!   Yippie it's Thursday or Friday Eve as I like to say!  It's also our first Throwback Thursday "Do-Over" at My Creative Time!  This is where, we  on the design team get to do a "do over".  

There are many times when I know that I'm not happy with my project.  It may not be aweful, it's just not what I had in mind when I started.  So this gives us a second chance!  :)

MCT April Release Sneak Peek Day 4 ~ Happy Birthday!

Welcome to Day 4 of My Creative Time's April Release Sneak Peeks!  

What do you think of this release?  Isn't it AWESOME!!!!  You only have one more day before you can see the whole collection in it's entirety!  In some ways this week has gone by fast, however tomorrow can't get here soon enough!  :)  Today, we are showcasing And then some & Springtime in Paris sets!

For my project today, I used Springtime in Paris set, it just called for lots of layers and textures.  I think I may have accomplished just that! :)

After stamping and die cutting the Eiffel Tower, I added some chunky glitter (I just had to).  A bit of distressing with ink and tools gave my card the look I was wanting.  I love "worn" and "elegance" together!
