MCT Whatever Wednesday ~ hello!

Happy Whatever Wednesday at My Creative Time.  This the day where we on the design team get to let loose and create!  Since I've been doing a lot of copic coloring, it was time to have fun watercoloring.

I first embossed with gold embossing powder then painted it with Distress Inks.  Next I die cut the "hello" in gold paper and 3 times in white cardstock and glued together.

MCT February Release Sneak Peek Day 2 ~ bunnies!

It's Day 2 of My Creative Time's February Release Sneak Peeks!  Today I get to share with you two new products.  The first is Cute Stitched Egg Tag Die and the coordinating stamps Egg Decorations.

Also I have two projects to share!

On the background I used watercolor paper, distress ink, perfect pearls and white acrylic paint to create the "galaxy".  Next I heat embossed the white zig-zag stamp.  If you look closely I stamped the polka dots on the egg with versamark ink.  

The bunny was colored with copics, then I added bit of wink of stella to the ears, belly and eggs,  Also I added glossy accents to the eyes, nose, and eggs.

For my next project stamped the leaves in fog on the white and blush on the pink.  A die cut bunny, butterfly, and grass complete this tag.

MCT February Release Sneak Peek Day 1 ~ big hugs!

Today is Day 1 of My Creative Time's February Release Sneak Peeks!  

Well I think you're going to fall in love with this sweet little set of stamps and dies.

For my card I started with stamping the image with Antique Linen distress ink to create the "no line" watercolor effect.  Next I watercolored the bunnies.  I felt it was way too soft, so I softly sketched the lines back in with a 0.03(very thin) Copic Multi Liner pen.   Wow, that made it POP!

The rest was very simple die cutting :)

For my first card I used the stencil with Glimmer Mist, after it was dry I used a rectangle die to cut the panel.  After the hearts were stamped I die cut them, added wink of stella and glossy accents.

The small white panel and hearts were popped up with foam tape.

For the panel I did some light ink blending then added the clouds using the stencil.  Next I sprinkled water and used a paper towel to remove some of the drops.  I then used one of the sentiments stamps and roughly stamped it all over the panel.  Lastly I inked the edges with black.

For the lady die I cut three times and glued together.  I heat embossed with clear a couple of times, then used the pewter power and embossed about three times.  I purposely over heated it to get the bubbling aged effect.  I finished it off by adding the embossed sentiment, ribbon, and button.

MCT October Release Blog Hop ~ sweet holiday!

Hey hey hey it's blog hop day for My Creative Time! MCT Tag It Tuesday ~ shower with love!

***Disclaimer*** I've been using my iPhone to take pic's since my big camera died :(

Hi, happy Tuesday to you!  Yep you get to see me two days in a row and it's not release week!  :)  Today is Tag It Tuesday at My Creative Time but because I needed to make a card for a friend's shower I decided to make a card with a tag on it. 

It's really hard to see in the picture but I stamped a grid background with VersaMark Ink on the yellow panel.  I also stamped hearts with VersaMark Ink on the green banner.  

For the tag I stamped the umbrella with Distress Ink for a "not line watercolor" on watercolor paper. and colored it with Distress Inks.  Once it was dry I stamped the sentiment in VersaFine ink several times with a Misti to get a real crisp look.

MCT Whatever Wednesday ~ sweet birthday!

Hi, I have a sweet card to share with you today.  Today is Whatever Wednesday at My Creative Time and that means that we DT girls can create whatever we want.  Most of the time I enjoy making something with a few guide lines.  But sometimes I really like to let whatever happens happen.  :)

For my card I first stamped with Archival Ink with a 2nd generation stamp.  Next I watercolored with distress inks.  On the cupcake I added Wink of Stella and Glossy Accents.

MCT Inspire Me Wednesday ~ watercolor dress!

Happy Wednesday to you and welcome to My Creative Time Inspire Me Wednesday!  Today I get to share with you what inspires me.  I love it when something completely different gives me the inspiration I need to get my creative juices flowing...just like this dress!

What do you think?  Would you wear this?  I would for sure, but even if you wouldn't, I think it makes for a great card inspiration.  

I first stamped the black lines with Archival ink using Mad for Plaid stamp and die set.  Next I embossed with black glitter powder using A Beautiful Day stamp and die set, then water colored the flowers with Distress Inks.  I just let the magic of Distress Inks do their thing...and voila it was done!  A few sequins and some thin hemp and my card was complete.

MCTJuly Release Sneak Peek Day 3 ~ cool pineapple!

Welcome to day 3 of My Creative Time July Release Sneak Peeks!  I have super fun dies to share with you, it the Big Stitched Flip Flop Die and the Cute Bows Dies (the freebie die)!  Doesn't this flip flop just scream SUMMER!!!

To create the card base I first embossed the the scallop part then die cut only half of the die.  For the sole part I stamped with Archival ink then water color with Distress Inks.  Next stamped the sunglasses on one pineapple and added glossy accents.  For the blue and yellow sunglasses, I stamped full strength and the stamp off method to create variation of colors.
