MCT June Release Sneak Peeks Day 1 ~ coolest!

It's time for My Creative Time's June Release Sneak Peeks!  With summer basically here I have the cutest stamp and die set for all your summer festivities.  This new adorable set is called Anything is Popsicle!  How cute it that!

For the background I stamp the grid with VersaMark and heat embossed with clear powder.  Next I ink blend the rainbow of colors.

For the white circle I taped two circle dies together.  On the popsicle, after stamping the face I added some copic marker to the edge and a little chalk and white gel pen on the cheeks.  To finish this card I added Nuvo Drops and the sentiment on the inside.

I used the stencil to emboss the "polka dots" strip, then simply die cut and stamped the rest.  Sorry for the blurry picture below...I had a lot of trouble with the glitter paper being too reflective.  :(

In person it's really cute, I promise!

For my next card I ink blended the rainbow with the stencil.

Next I used a rectangle die on the panel, die cut "hello" three times in black and once in glitter.

MCT Throwback Thursday ~ happy bird-day!

Happy Thursday to you, welcome to My Creative Time's Throwback Thursday!  I'm going to share a "tweet" card I made using and older little set, Birthday Buddies.

For the background I used my "cloud stencil"(I made with the cloud edge die) and ink blended VERY lightly with distress ink.  It's so light the camera can barely pick it up, but in person it's perfectly light. :)

Next I die cut the square frame using two square dies taped together.  The images were stamped then colored with copic markers.  I also added details with gel pen, chalk and glossy accents.  I love glossy accents in person, but it never photographs well, especially when I use it on "eyes".

MCT April Release Sneak Peek Day 3 ~ thanks for your kindness!

Whoop Whoop, it's Day 3 of My Creative Time's April Release Sneak Peeks and that means tomorrow the shopping can begin!  Today we have another darling set to share with you called Kindness.  I love the simplicity of it.

There is a cute world die in this set, which I didn't use.  However, I wanted the feel of a world or water.  For the background I ink blended distress oxide inks with a wavy stencil I created on my Silhouette machine.  Then added a few water drops.  Some simple heat embossing with the sentiment stamp, die cut hearts and the card is complete.

MCT April Release Sneak Peeks Day 2 ~ unstoppable!

It's Day 2 of My Creative Time's April Release!  I get to share with you one of the cutest super heroes from this release!  This new set is called Have a Super Day.  There is also a coordinating die set called Super Tag Dies.  Ooohh sooo fun!

A little stamping, a little ink blending, and a little die cutting and this card is complete.  Nuvo Drops add the right amount of detail to this super fun card.  For the "sun rays"  I found an image and using my Silhouette I cut it out on clear card stock.  Now I have a stencil to be used over and over.

MCT Weird Holiday ~ reach as hi as you can day!

Happy Weird Holiday to you!  I really enjoy when I get scheduled for the Weird Holiday at My Creative Time.  Some of the "holidays" are really fun to create for, like Reach As High As You Can Day on April 14th.

First I ink blended Distress Oxiode, then using a stencil I created with More Stitched Edges I inked some more.  After it was dry I die cut the rectangle.  I colored the plane with copic markers, and I added extra lines with copic multiliner to the wings. Wink of stella was added to the windows along with glossy accents.  I popped up the top cloud panel and the plane with foam tape.

MCT Whatever Wednesday ~ hello!

Happy Whatever Wednesday at My Creative Time.  This the day where we on the design team get to let loose and create!  Since I've been doing a lot of copic coloring, it was time to have fun watercoloring.

I first embossed with gold embossing powder then painted it with Distress Inks.  Next I die cut the "hello" in gold paper and 3 times in white cardstock and glued together.

MCT March Release Sneak Peek Day 1 ~ get well!

Hello!  Today is Day 1 of My Creative Time's March Release Sneak Peeks!  Today we are featuring Tulip Frame Die and Springtime Smiles stamp set.  This frame die is so cute, it can be dressed up with lots of embellishing or kept simple.  I choose to do a simple silhouette.

On the background I did a watercolor "smoosh" effect.  Once dry I die cut the frame from the watercolor background and black cardstock.  This how I created the inlay look.

MCT February Release Blog Hop ~ easter greetings!

Welcome to My Creative Time's February Release Blog Hop!  I hope you've enjoyed this week's sneaky peeks,  I know I sure have.  I'm so in love with the sweet "I'll Never Let You Go" stamp and die set that I had to do another project with them.

Since earlier this week I did a "no line watercolor" for my project, today I wanted to try "no line copic coloring".  Like I said in my Tuesday post, because it's so soft it's difficult to photograph...at least for me :)  It person it's a lot easier to see.

I first stamped in Fog then used 4 Copics shade to color the bunnies.  This card was really quick and easy...my kind of project!

MCT February Release Sneak Peek Day 3 ~ hoppy easter!

Whoop Whoop it's day 3 of My Creative Time's February Release Sneak Peeks and that means tomorrow the shopping can begin!  However before that happens you will need to see what I have to share with you today...Chunky Tag Dies.  

I'm in love with these tags!  Reason #1 is you can create a little scene on them, and #2 they don't 

have a hole at the top so you can use it as a background on a card!

On the tag I lightly ink blended the sky and grass. Then with the cloud stencil I added a little more blue.  The bunny, flowers, fence, and eggs were colored with copic markers.  This looks really detailed but it was really quick and easy.
