MCT Scrapping The Little Things ~ happy anniversary!

Hello!  Today is Scrapping The Little Things over at My Creative Time.  Truth be told I've kind of let my scrapbooking get a bit behind, even using the pocket style albums.  :/  So I've been trying to keep at least this year up to date.  Oh...the problems of a scrapbooker!  LOL!

My pages are from my anniversary dinner, my husband has been wanting to take me to the House of Prime Rib in San Francisco for quite sometime.  He tried to get a reservation on a Friday night six weeks in advance, but it was already booked so Thursday night it was.  Yes, six weeks for a reservation!  If you're ever in the city and like prime rib, it's a must!  It's been there since the 40's!

The meat comes around on a cart and cut at your table by the chef.  If you like your meat well done, this not the place for you.  I happen to like it rare, that's one reason I printed my pictures in sepia tone.  I thought it might gross people out if they saw just how rare it was.  :)

Choosing the sepia tone of the pictures gave me the idea to go monochromatic for the whole layout.  I must let you know it does look better in person.  In the pictures it appears very dull.

MCT Scrapping The Little Things ~ flip flop day!

Happy Monday!  Today I get to share my pocket style scrapbooking with you since it's Scrapping The Little Things over at My Creative Time.  If you seen my "scrapping" before, then maybe you've noticed that they are rarely journaled.  I do journal, it's just that tend to keep that private.  :)

This page is from my vacation to the Bahamas...oh I want to go back!!  After snorkeling , my husband and I found a hammock under two palm trees and fell asleep.  It truly was a great day!

To create the texture background behind the flip flops and some pictures, I used the textured surf board from Surf's Up stamp set.

That palm tree was my view while relaxing in the hammock.

MCT Scrapping The Little Things ~ epcot!

Hello friends, today is Scrapping The Little Things over at My Creative Time.
So that means I get to share a wee bit of my recent vacation to Florida.  One of our stops was a day at Epcot!  This was our first time to Florida, so were not used to the weather...at all!  :)

Even with the heat we still had a good time and got to enjoy all the fun/food Epcot had to offer.

It's so hard to capture all this park has to offer when it come to ALL the beautiful flowers and plants.

I created my title card with some quick stamping and copic marker coloring.  Since these images are small the coloring took hardly any time at all...and coloring is so relaxing too!

MCT Scrapping The Little Things ~ sand castles!

Hello crafty friends, today is Scrapping The Little Things over at My Creative Time!  This is the perfect way for me to get my pages completed.  Whether you do traditional or pocket pages, My Creative Time Stamps and Dies can help you make them darling!

I've left a couple of squares empty for journaling (my least favorite part to do).

I used the water color stamp to create the sand and sky background.  This was originally going to be a title square, but now I might journal on top of the stamping since it's so light.

A bit of second generation stamping then one heat embossed to create the "sand castles" square.

MCT Scrapping The Little Things ~ left my heart!

Good morning and happy Monday crafty friends!  I hope your weekend was filled with fun and happiness!  This weekend I worked on my house doing little things like touching up walls and baseboards.  It's come to my attention that I'm getting old...I'm so sore from crawling around on the floor doing the baseboards! ;)
Well I know you didn't stop by to hear me whine, so on to my project!  Today is Scrapping the Little Things at My Creative Time, so a layout is what I have for you.

When my daughters and son in law where home for the holidays, we went to the city.  I have lived in the Bay Area all my life yet I had never walked on the Golden Gate Bridge.  Isn't it interesting that we live near a landmark where people from all over the world come to visit, yet I looked at it as just a bridge, a beautiful bridge, but a bridge.  Well let me say walking on it has given me a new perspective!

I little bit of coloring ( I used copics) and ink make this fun snowman come to life.

Of course this little guy was screamin' for a wobble!  hehehe

I couldn't just stop at the snowman...I had to get some pocket cards ready for my Christmas pictures.

How cute is that rocking horse!  Oh, and how about that bandanna garland :)
