MCT Thoughtful Tuesday ~ superstar!

Happy Tuesday to you!  Today is Thoughtful Tuesday over at My Creative Time, I'm always happy when I get scheduled for it...I can always use these cards.  :)

To create this card I simply cut out a star from the card base.  Next I cut a red and blue star outline, by taping two stars together with washi tape.  Stamped the sentiment and stars on the inside of the card.

MCT June Release Sneak Peek Day 3 ~ sew lucky!

We are already half way through My Creative Time's June Release Sneak Peeks! Today's sneak is perfect for all or your sewing friends! I'm actual sharing two sewing sets, You're Sew Special and Thanks Sew Much! One has images (I think 6 images) and sentiments and one with just sentiments. Oh my, they are "sew" cute! :)

A bit of light inking using the polka dot stencil from A Sunny Hello Kit. Some stamping and coloring with Copic Markers. A few cranks with a die cutting machine and my card is complete!

MCT June Release Sneak Peek Day 2 ~ dream!

Hello and welcome to day 2 of My Creative Time's June Release sneaky peeks! Today we get to share with Never Stop Dreaming stamp and die set. This set is so pretty with many "dream" sentiments!

To create my card, I did some simple stamping with a light grey using only a portion of the dream catcher image and VersaMark ink on pink cardstock. I stamped the dream catcher with Memento Ink then colored with Copic Markers. Adding hemp and Nuvo Drops completes this card. Oh and I put a bit of Wink of Stella on the center of the dream catcher.

MCT June Release Sneak Peeks Day 1 ~ coolest!

It's time for My Creative Time's June Release Sneak Peeks!  With summer basically here I have the cutest stamp and die set for all your summer festivities.  This new adorable set is called Anything is Popsicle!  How cute it that!

For the background I stamp the grid with VersaMark and heat embossed with clear powder.  Next I ink blend the rainbow of colors.

For the white circle I taped two circle dies together.  On the popsicle, after stamping the face I added some copic marker to the edge and a little chalk and white gel pen on the cheeks.  To finish this card I added Nuvo Drops and the sentiment on the inside.

MCT 3D Wednesday ~ your kindness!

Hello, it's 3D Wednesday over at My Creative Time!  I know, you're probably thinking...this isn't a 3D project.  Oh but it is!  

To create this card I cut two worlds and placed thread between and attached.  Next I cut a circle from the card base and the background panel.  Then I sandwiched the world with the thread between the card base and panel.  I next stamped the sentiment inside the card base so that the world would cover it.

Before closing the card all you have to do is twist the world tight and carefully close the card.  

When the recipient opens the card the world spins.  So yeah, it's a 3D card!  :)

MCT Whatever Wednesday ~ celebrate!

Hello crafty friends!  Today is Whatever Wednesday at My Creative Time and it's a perfect time to try different techniques.  I'm not even sure what to call this technique, maybe dimensional die cutting.  

On the panel I stamped and copic colored the image, then (while holding my breath) I die cut the "celebrate".  Next I cut 1 white and 2 black "celebrate".  I inlaid the the white one into the panel and stacked the black ones on top.  The color one was added to the top.  Be sure you keep all the pieces from the colored one to add to the panel so it shows through.  This is easier than I'm explaining.  If I was to do this again I would of used black for the inlaid piece too.

MCT 7 Year Anniversary Release Blog Hop ~ happy birthday to you!

Good morning and welcome to My Creative Time's 7 Year Anniversary Blog Hop!  I can hardly believe that Miss Emma and been creating her fun and fabulous stamps and dies for that long!  Time flies when you are having fun creating!  :)

I used one of the smaller square dies to create the card and covered it with the scallop square for the panel.  Then it was simply die cutting the cake popping up the "frosting" with foam tap and adding the Nuvo Drops and Glossy Accents.

MCT 7 Year Anniversary Release Sneak Peeks Day 2 ~ wishing you comfort!

Hello, today is day 2 of  My Creative Time's 7 Year Anniversary Sneak Peeks!   Like yesterday we have another fun and unique edge die called Circle Border Die. 

Honestly my pictures aren't doing it justice...

this will be an on going theme this week with my pictures. 

I created the border on the teal panel then attached to my card base, then inlaid with the rust centers.  Of course I don't let anything go to waste so I was able to make another card (see below) with the leftover rust circles.  Then I added the Flower Petal Die cut several times and layered.
