Baby Shower ~ Mommy To Bee!

Hi, happy Friday!  

I wanted to share a baby shower that friends and I threw last weekend.  Isn't that typewriter adorable!!!  My friend had it at the entry as a greeting...loved it!

The bee hive, honeycomb cake made the whole theme come together!  A friend made the cake :)

The invitation and the games I made using my Silhouette and My Creative Time stamps and dies!  After printing the games, I stamped the "bee" for the Free Space.  We played 4 games, so I was able to print all the games on one piece of paper.  That way each person only had to deal with one piece.  My sister in law came up with that idea...brilliant!

For the favors I used My Creative Time stamps and dies, along with Peachy Keen background stamps.  Oh yeah and my Silhouette for the yellow banner.

She received so many nice gifts!

Welcome to My Creative Time's October Release Blog Hop, I can hardly believe it's finally here!  This release has been so fun, I really hope you've enjoyed the week as much as I have!

My project is an invitation for our annual Christmas Potluck Party.  Since I decorated the "stamp" area, I would not mail these without an envelope.  I used "merry, and, bright, and the ticket" from the Holiday Ticket stamp set!  If you have a large stamp block you could put all the stamps using the same color on the block and stamp one time.  Doing it this way would allow you to get a bunch done fairly quick!

 

 

I used the Build a Banner stitched circle die then heat embossed the white powder.  Once dry, I used a gold pen and gold stickles on the little holly leaves.

A bit of green and red stickles adds sooo much in person.  Oh, I almost forgot that added small amount of diamond stickles to the trees.  :)  I'm having a thing for stickles lately...oh who am I kidding, I always want sparkle on my projects!

MCT Day 3 of August Release Sneak Peak ~ Thanksgiving!

Oh my goodness today is already Day 3 of My Creative Time's August Release!  The projects from my design teammates have been AMAZING!  I know you've been enjoying them as much as I have.

Today I wanted to share with you an invitation for Thanksgiving Dinner.  I used a couple of stamps and a die from the new release and few oldies but goodies from the past!  :)

A little bit of stitching and some hemp, give this invitation the right amount of texture.

Wahoo It's Friday ~ Invitation and Favor Box!

Hi Everyone,

I just have a super quick project to share with you!  With this weekend being the start of entertaining and backyard BBQ's, I wanted to make and invitation and quick thank you/favor box!

When I got my Art Philosophy cartridge, I was so EXCITED with all the "extras" it came with. But then I wasn't really sure what or how to use the system. So there they were just staring at me everytime I used the cartridge (which is one of my fav's). Well I finally tried to make something using the stamps that came with it. I hope these inspire you to pull out the stamps that coordinate with Art Philosophy and CREATE!!!
