My Pink Stamper live stream!

Hi !

I hope everyone got to see Robyn at My Pink Stamper on her live chat!  She had some great news and some funny moments!  If you didn't get to see it, go check it out at  http://www.mypinkstamper.com .The best part is she is having a give away and I was her first comment on it...of course that puts me in a bad spot for winning, but you never know.  I'll keep good thoughts!  :o)

So after that, I needed to make a card for my nephew who's turning 21 on Monday.  Thought I would share it with you.

I used an old stamp set from Stampin Up, SU Night of Navy ink, SU, CM and Bazzill paper.  SU punches, eyelets and ribbon from Michael's.  Quick and Easy!

Have a good night and enjoy!

Sympathy Card

I don't usually see alot of sympathy cards on blogs, most of us want to see cute cards.  Thought I would share this before I mailed it out.

I used Thoughtful Prayers and Tiny Words from Stampin Up, markers from SU, paper from SU, Bazzill, Martha Stewart punches, Target ribbon, and fine glitter on the leaves.  (the dark paper is a dark purple)

My first try with Design Studio

I know, I know...I should be trying the Gypsy, but sometimes I'm a late bloomer!  I thought about getting the Gypsy, when I first saw it last fall before it was released.  However, I don't alway use things I buy, so I thought I would try DS for alot less money.  I got it a couple of months ago, I kept playing with the program, but wasn't quite getting it.  So today I was determined to do something simply and get it cut.  I watched a couple of videos from http://capadiadesigns.blogspot.com/ . Wow! She explains it really simple!  So this is my 1st try a really simply card from Doodlecharms and Lyrical Letters carts.

Strange thing...when I went to cut, the ice cream and layer that came from Doodlecharms and the "enjoy"  from Lyrical Letters.  The program only asked me for Lyrical Letters cart to be in the Cricut.  It never asked for Doodlecharms to be in, yet it still cut it.  I don't have a jukebox, either.  I didn't have time to make anything else with a cart I have and don't have mixed up to see if it would still cut.  Maybe next time.  Let me know if you know why this happened or if this is just the way it works.

Have a great rest of the day!

Sunday Me Time!

Had some extra time today so I did some scrapbooking and a card.  Still trying to finish my youngest daughter's scrapbook.  She graduated last June and I'm still 3 years behind...my goal is to finish before this June.  I'd betted get to that instead of playing here!  :o)

I used Stretch your Imagination and Storybook cartridge.  Stampin up boarder punch.  Bazzil and DCWV papers. Stickles on the holly and berries.

Then I made a card for a friend that received an award from a local city for being an outstanding citizen.  She work for the local Senior Center and volunteers at a blind center.  She is one special person!

Stampin up stamp (retired I think), ink and blender pen and scallop boarder punch, Bazzil and CM paper, Target doller bin ribbon.

Enjoy!

I must be ready for spring!!!

Since Tuesday it's been close to 70 degrees!  I'm in a spring mood!  It's suppose to start getting cold again...this has been such a tease!  On Sunday when I did the MPS scrapbook challeng, I had cut a tree too small for the page.  Being the frugal scrapper that I am...I couldn't throw it away, so I made card!  I used Strech your Imagination cartridge.

The next card was an idea from MPS, I used doodlecharm cartridge.

The cards that I have been making lately are very simple, almost plain, compared to my ususal style.  I usually stamp more and use more embellishments.  I have been trying to do simple, but I feel they are always missing something.  Hmm, maybe it's time to go back to my old habits!    Enjoy!

my pink stamper scrapbook page challenge

I'm a little late to the game, but here is what I did for this challenge.  I have been a little brain dead with ideas, so I went snooping for some.  I found a card made be Teri Barrios on "Bitten by the Bug" blog and turned it into a scrapbook page.  I used Stretch your Imagination and Tags, baga and more cartridges, along with scallop border punch from Stampin up.

I love Christmas and my family, so that part was a no brainer!  Enjoy!

Gotta love Target $1 bin!!!!

Found some cute ribbon at Target in the dollar section.  It's great for cards!  As soon as I saw this combo, I knew it needed a coffee cup.  The best part is I didn't even know I had one...found this cup on my Lyrical cartridge.  Oh boy that's a great cartridge the more I look at it, the more I find new things on it.

I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Enjoy!

Coaster Photo Frame

Hi,

I hope everyone is have a great day!  Today was my day off, ran some errands, then got to be creative.  I loved the Aloha card that Gina at Gigi's Creative Design did with "Life's a Beach" cartridge so much...I had to go get it!  So I came up with this photo frame made with coasters from the dollar bin at Michael's.  You know like that ones that are at Chili's or Outback.

I just covered them, sanded the edges, then inked the sides.  I hope you like it!

Have a creative rest of the day!

More Wild Card Cartridge

For some reason I'm stuck on cards, when I should be scrapbooking.  Last night I watched one of My Pink Stamper's video,(isn't she AWESOME!!!)  so this is completely copied from her, just the paper is different.

This is one of my own ideas, I used Wild Card and Doodlecharm cartridges.  Stampin up "sweet" stamp and silver cord.

I hope you like them!  Now it's time to scrapbook!

Candy Cup

I wanted to try something different...I did a project in November with my Stampin up gal, where she used a stampin up scalloped envelope die to made a holder for small note cards.  So with the Cricut Wild Card I used the baby carriage envelope to create this.  I'm going to put candy in mine.  Enjoy!

Welcome Home Card

I wanted to make a couple of cards for some friends that will be coming home from a vacation.  I've got one done so far.  Hope you like it!
materials:
Cricut Wild Card cartridge
various paper and ribbon
