MCT 55th Edition Sneak Peek #4 ~ dreams!

Hey hey we are on day 4 of My Creative Time May Release and it's the last day of sneak peeks before the shopping can begin! I know I've loved all the creativity that's been happening this week! How 'bout you?! Today I get to share with you two sets, CIRCLE BALLOON & SCRIPT WORDS. Oh so fun!!! Last week I took an Online Card Class but didn't get a chance to play until now, so this card is completely inspired from that class.

First I embossed the vellum card base, then added the pink balloon die to the front and two white balloons to the inside (after I stamped the sentiments). This way you can write a sentiment inside, and a bonus that the adhesive doesn't show through. :) Isn't this sentiment perfect for graduations!

I needed to make several graduation cards so decided to do a few more with solid paper embossed. I also added a black hemp string to each of them.

MCT What a Treat Wednesday ~ for you!

Hey hey hey it's What a Treat Wednesday over at My Creative Time!  I love it when I'm scheduled for "what a treat" day, since it gets me to think of new ways to create little "favor/gifts" for someone.  It's also fun to see what the other girls have come up with...let me tell you, some of the girls are just MASTERS in this area!

My project today is a fun little bag filled with strawberry candies...so of course I had to add strawberries to the bag.  The first thing I did was randomly stamp the image then color with copic markers.  I should say I quickly colored the images, as you can see I wasn't overly careful with my coloring.  I assure you that in person you can hardly notice I went out of the lines.  Once it was complete I ran it through my Big Shot with the "swiss dot" folder.

MCT February Sneak Peeks Day 3 ~ hello!

It's Day 3 of My Creative Time's February Release Sneak Peek!  Well as you can see a lot of us on the design team have been in a watercolor mood this release ;)  I hope you're not too tired of them since I have another one for you today!  lol!

My card I'm sharing with you today is made with the new Hello Frame Die!  This die fits perfectly with the 3x4 Journal Die, which is what I used to watercolor the background.

I cut two Stitched Rectangle Frame Dies in small and medium.  The small one is with vellum, then I used an embossing folder for more texture.  I stamped the sun, then watercolored it with a little ink .

PKS June Release Sneak Peeks ~ Happy Birthday and Banner!

Welcome, friends to the first day of sneak peeks for the June Release at Peachy Keen Stamps!

June has arrived and with it, the “official” start to Summer!   We couldn’t be more excited to begin sharing sneak peeks with you this month, because we’ve had so many requests for this particular theme, and we’re NOT clowning around.  Well… actually, we ARE!

I created this FUN card and banner for a coworker for her birthday.  The banner was hung over her monitor for a festive look!  She is truly the "class clown" of the office, so she loved it!

Isn't he just ADORABLE!!!  I though it would be fun to have him peeking from behind the cake, but it sort of looks like he's jumping out of it.  So what do you he's doing?  :)  The SVG file is from Miss Kate Cuttbles, I didn't use all the layers because it would have been WAY TOO BUSY!  Also I wanted he cake to look whimsical and wonky!  :)

Feeling Crusty!

Good Monday morning!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend and Mother's Day if it applies to you! :)  My weekend was fun filled, with a bit of crafting, cleaning, and painting.  Last week I mentioned that I was in the process of organizing, well something shiny caught my eye :), I started to paint my bedroom a new color!  I'm sure it doesn't make sense, but it does to me :)

Well enough of me, now on to my project!  Here is a fun get well card, this could be for anyone with good sense of humor!  I'm hoping the intended person likes it!

I love mixing my Peachy Keen Stamps and My Creative Stamps and Dies!  

Well, I think I'm finally going to have to break down and new ink pads.  I've been using Stampin' Up pads for years. I'm pretty sure the colors I need have been discontinued, so reinkers aren't an option :/  So now I have to decide which brand to change too.  If you have a preference, I'd love to know.

PKS May Release Sneak Peeks ~ This Little Light Of Mine!

MCT April Release Sneak Peek Day 3 ~ Friends!

Whew!  Can you believe it already Day 3 of  My Creative Time April Release Sneak Peeks!!!  I know that you've been drooling over all the projects from the other girls on the Design Team, just as I have!!!  Today the two sets that are being featured are Wishing You Were Here and Stitched Pretty Flowers and Leaves dies.  I'm showing both sets on my card.

The style of these dies are perfect for so many different types of projects.  Since there is stitching on both sides of the dies, they can be used to create a flower or a "hole (negative)" in the center of a card.  Emma is just SO smart!  :)

I love mixing and matching older MCT products with new.  Like the Vintage Stitched Label Dies, I think these new flower dies will be a staple for many projects to come!

I don't usually decorate the inside of my cards, however I couldn't resist it for this one :)
