Snow Much Fun ~ Layout!

Hi Everyone, happy Monday!  Welcome to My Creative Time's Scrapping the Little Things!  Each Monday, some of us on the design team will be showing you different layouts using Project Life style or Smash Books layouts.

Even though I wasn't on today's schedule, I couldn't help but join in!  It feels so good to get pages completed!  I have decided to use Echo Parks Photo Freedom protectors!  I really love them!
I used My Creative Time "Cherish This Moment" stamp set for the journaling lines and the "stinkin' cute" stamp!

The wonderful thing about this style of scrapping is that you can whip through your pages so fast!  I found these old pictures from 1996!  I had already scraped them for both of my girl's albums, so when I opened the envelope I saw that I had already cropped some of them into ovals.  At first I was kind of bummed, but then I realized that I could still use them.  Ideally I wouldn't have the pictures that way, but I didn't want to throw them away either!

For the little plum snowflakes I used "It's a Magical Season" stamp set.  Then for "January" and the "year" I used "Whimsical Calender" and "Just Simply Live"!

I added a bit of stickles, thin hemp and sparkly buttons for glitz!  And lastly I'm lovin' that I can still use my Cricut with this style.  Did you know that you can mix and match the protectors?  What that means is, that you can still do traditional scrapping, since Echo Park offers different style of pockets, including a full 12x12!

Cricut Circle Challenges!

Hi!   Happy Saturday, the sun is shining and there is a slight crispness to the air...it ALMOST feels like fall!  Well today I have a couple of projects to share with you that will be entered into the Cricut Circle Challenges going on right now.  Depending on how my day goes, meaning how much cleaning and laundry I get done, I may add some more project through out the day to this same post.  I'll see how all that goes!  :)

My first project is for the Circle Blogiversary Monochromatic Color Challenge.  I chose to make a tag for Christmas.  I always make my own, usually not with alot of pieces.  However, I think I could make a bunch of these fairly quickly!  The challenge is to have a monochromatic color scheme...check, and 2 Cricut cuts...check!

Episode #1 ~ Glass ornament with winter scene. Yep, I did it!

Hello!
That's right I finally did one! After 2 days and countless hours I got it uploaded. I actually had to do it twice...there's something about listening to yourself speak...I now realize that I say "um" a LOT! Um...I'm going to have to pay more attention to that, um... :)

I want to thank Nicole and Emma for giving me help on how to upload to youtube...sorry Nicole, I only mentioned Emma in the video, I realized it when I watched it back. Also, I wanted to thank Nicole for making me a button for my blog, she totally surprised me with it. She's learning how to do them and blog designs. Well I hope you like my first video, I'm not so sure I will do anymore, I'll wait and see if the mood strikes me again.

One more thing, I have received blog awards last week, I'm sorry with the holiday and this silly video, I'm way behind.  I'm going to do my best to take care of them tomorrow.  I really do appreciate them.

Enjoy!

My Pink Stamper "Winter" Challenge

I hope everyone is having a good afternoon!  I'm recovering from my white water rafting trip!  Had a blast but had a few "mishaps", and we all came home alive!  The biggest problem was my nail (I have acrylics on) ripped off the nail bed, one of the times we flipped our boat.  Acrylic is still on the nail...nail is only attached at the base of the bed!  So crafting today was a little difficult.  The next 3-4 months should be fun waiting for it to grow out! ;o) !!!

Anyway on to the card that seemed to take all day!!!  I love it when Robyn at My Pink Stamper has a challenge!  I would love to win the stamp set she's giving away too!

Recipe:
Cricut Cartridge:  Winter Frolic
Paper:  DCWV, Bazzill
Ribbon:  Papertrey Ink, AMM
Stamp: My Pink Stamper
Stickles, white pen
Ink: Papertery Ink

I hope your weekend was a great one!
