Fur Babies Friday ~ Guest Designer!

Hi, it's Fur Babies Friday at The Scrapbooking Queen with Princesss Penelope.  I'm so excited that I was asked to be a Guest Designer this week!  This means so much to me because right now I'm without a fur baby.  We lost our little "stinky" girl last year, so this let me think about her and what a good and loyal fur baby she was.  Here are some pictures we took just after we found out how sick she was and she still loved going on walks.

she's on a wobble!

recipe:
Birthday Bash Cricut Cartridge
dog cut at 2.17 x 2.61
hats on banner cut at .91 x 3.34
A Child's Year Cricut Cartridge
bone ~ welded 2 together at  7.11 x 3.47 each
bone layer cut at 6.83 x 2.94
embossed with Cuttlebug swiss dot folder
wobble, ink, white pen, the twinery twine
Echo Park paper ~ splash

Thank you to The Scrapbooking Queen for having me as Penelope's Guest Designer!

Hi!  Yes, this is my second post of the day!  I just wanted to quickley post a card I made for the Peachy Keen Face it Friday and the Circle blog.  Peachy Keen's challenge is to make something that radiates the warmth of the sun with a PK face.  And the Circle blog's weekly challenge was to make something that is interactive.

So here is what I came up with...

the sun is on a slide that spins...the interactive part  :)

Recipe:
Plantin Schoolbook Cricut Cartridge
rectange welded inside a rectangle at 5.05 x 3.80 & 4.35 x .24
Pooh and Friends Cricut Cartridge
sun cut at 2.41 x 2.30 with circle layer to match
Country Life Cricut Cartridge
hills cut at4.98 x 3.27 with layers to match
ink, white pen, chalk, glossy accents
paper: PTI, we are memory keepers, Bazzill, American Craft

I have also added a third card for today!  This card is for the Circle Blog Monthly Challenge!  The challenge is to have some type of window element on your project.  I think this will work!

don't you love that way he's waving out the window!

recipe:
Winter Woodland Cricut Cartridge
scallop circle shadow 2 welded together at 5.54 x 5.12
scallop circle 5.30 x 5.12
circle 4.49 x 5.12
Christmas Cricut Cartridge
window shadow cut 2.60 x 3.47
window cut 2.60 x 3.47
Happy Hauntings Cricut Cartridge
skeleton cut 2.02 x 3.98
Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge
flower cut 2.83 x 2.73

paper: Teresa Collins, PTI
ribbon, Martha Stewart Punch, googly eyes, black pen, liquid pearls, black pearls

The Scrapbooking Queen Royal Hop Day 3!

Welcome to The Scrapbooking Queen's Royal Hop Featuring 4 My Babies Scraps digital scrapbooking kits! You should have arrived here from Jenny at Crazy About Cricut. If you just popped in to see me, then head over to The Scrapbooking Queen for the start so you don't miss a thing!

For today's card I did something a little different!  The great thing about digital kits is that you can change the hue in your photo editing program.  Let me explain if you don't know what I mean...the background paper was originally bright green in the kit.  In my photo program I went to Hue Saturation and softened the color.  Easy Peasy!

I added little pearls on the top of the gate.

recipe:
pearls, ribbon,
Stampin Up paper
Heritage Cricut Cartridge
gate cut at 5.35 x 3.28

Family Rules "Subway" Sign

Oh I'm so happy it's Saturday!  I have a full day planned! Of what you ask?  Cleaning and crafting!  Next week I'm in a week long blog hop that I have to get ready for, plus someother projects!

Well, I have been wanting a European Subway Sign for a long time.  Then one day I saw a "Family Rules" sign in the same style on Pinterest (which I'm still not quite sure I understand) and just loved it!  Then last week or so on the Circle Blog, they had the same sign up along with their take on it.  I thought, that's it, I'm making one.  So YES, I completely "scraplifted" this entire project!  However, I did make a video to show exactly how to do it.  Now you can make your own "family rules" sign!

I did fail to mention in the video that I used my gypsy to create the whole layout on the 12 x 24 mat.

recipe:
board
vinyl and transfer tape
black & ivory spray paint
Plantin Schoolbook Cricut Cartridge
Base Camp Cricut Cartridge
Birthday Bash Cricut Cartridge
Nate's ABC Cricut Cartridge
