Last Day of Summer!

Hello!  So today is the last day of Summer...not sure how I feel about this.  This was the second mild summer we've had, so I really don't feel like it ever got here.  However, I LOVE Fall!!!  So in honor of the last day of Summer, I made a card using My Creative Time ~ Anyday Bingo & Crossword stamp set.

Disclaimer alert!!!  My card was perfect, but I didn't see it that way until it was too late!!!!

After stamping the letters, I thought it needed something more ( I usually do).  So I added glossy accents to the whole puzzle and the mask...good, right?  Not really...the letters became blurry and faint.  I'm not sure how to avoid this in the future, I guess just stop and leave well enough alone!  :)  That just doesn't seem all that fun!

recipe:
Life's a Beach Cricut Cartridge
swimmer cut at 3"
Echo Park paper, Papertrey Ink Kraft
the twinery, button, stickles, ink, glossy accents

Enjoy!

I love how it is like the little swimmer is placing the 's.' And I totally have to agree with the other girls the glossy accents and little bit of color blur makes it look like it is under water, so it totally added to the card. Love it! Hugs- Glora

I think it's perfect, Liz, and I thought you meant to do it before I read that! The blurry letters make it look like it's under water. I love the diver putting the "s" on the puzzle! So cute and clever!!!

Your card turned out so cute. I just did something similar, only it didn't look as cute as yours. I am guessing next time I use Glossy Accents it would be better to use a permanent ink pad. Do you guys get any breezes out there? It has been so hot here,
