My Guest Designer Week at Everyday Cricut ~ Mini Album!

It's happy Monday here at my blog and I'm over the "Halloween Moon" today!  Why you ask?  I have been asked to be a Guest Designer all week over at Everyday Cricut!  This is beyond cool!

Of course I had to come up with some fun projects this week, I hope you think they are too!  For today's project  I wanted to create a fun Halloween Mini Album!  I don't make them very often, but I think that's about to change...this was so much fun to make!
To create my album pages, I used cereal boxes.  I love the idea of up cycling!

I stitched a bit on the cover and popped up the scary cat!

If you didn't know, I tend to think that my projects aren't complete without a bit of glitter!  So I glittered the ghost! :)

After cutting the banner, I stamped it with the "boo" and more glitter on this ghost! :)
Yes, the skull is glittered! lol

The black frame was embossed with Swiss Dot Cuttlebug folder

I used a stamp to create the "pattern" paper too.

Lastly I added ribbon on the ring for some added fun!

recipe:
Artiste Cricut Cartridge
straight lable cut at 4.88 x 2.84 and small layer 4.02 x 2.34
curly label cut at 4.89 x 7.97 and small layer 4.03 x 6.57
Chic and Scary Cricut Cartridge
cat cut at 2.19 x 2.41
banner cut at 1.01 x 1.35
skull ticket cut at 2.22 x 1.12
Happy Hauntings
ghost cut at 1.52 x 1.78
square frame cut at 3.51 x 3.47
circle frame cut at 2.88 x 4.18
pumpkins cut at 2.47 x 2.06 and 2.02 x 2.06
Liz's Paper Loft Boutique ~ 1mm gold hemp, Tricks or Treats paper pad

Hi,
Happy Monday and Happy EAD Designs Monday Hop!  I just love to start the week out with a quick hop!  You should have arrived here from the amazing Lauren, if not why don't you head over to EAD Designs for the start!  I decided to make a layout for Disneyland pictures.  I know this layout doesn't seem like Disneyland, but really it does make sense if you've been there during Halloween ~ Christmas!  Well, I would have added my pictures, but I couldn't find them, so they'll have to wait, but I couldn't wait to post it!

sorry for the bad lighting, this is after photo shop! oops!
recipe:
Happy Haunting Cricut Cartridge
tombstones cut 2.58 x 3.35
letters cut 1.00
Lacy Labels
large mat cut 6.67 x 4.80
circle cut 8.48 x 8.18

paper: Stemma, daisy d's, Basic Grey, Bazzill, Stampin Up

Thank you to Court for being our guest designer this month!  And it's officially my first full month on the EAD design team, and I've enjoyed every minute of it!

Trick or Treat Shadow Box!

Good morning to all my spooky followers!

It's the "Fun~mare Before Halloween"  Blog Hop!  You should have arrived from Linda at Krazy Quilling, she is super creative!  To start from the beginning, go to Jess at Kinder Stampo...there is lots of blog candy give aways going on so be sure to check out all the blogs along the way!

Now on to my project...I've seen a few of these types of pictures going around, so of course I had to add a twist or two!  It's hard to see but I added glass etching for the moon.  And of course Halloween wouldn't be the same with out my favorite...candy corns, which are under the glass.  I hope you enjoy and get some ideas so you can create your own!

Recipe:
T shirt 12 x 12 frame
Happy Hauntings cart
house cut 5.18 x 7.07
trick or treat cut 6.41 x 1.60 out of vinyl
ghost cut 1.05 x 1.24 don't forget to flip one
Holiday Cake
moon and bat cut 6.68 x 1.96 out of vinyl
bat use regular piece
moon use the part you would normally throw away as a stencil for the glass etching
A Child's Year
cut the kids at 3" high
cut shadow based on 3" high regular piece
Bazzill paper
Stampin Up stamps

after I did mine I thought of this~ etch the inside part of the glass, it seemed to show up better.  I was unable to turn the glass around or I would have.

When assembling leave enough room for the candy corns!  The hard part is looking at the candy corns and not being able to get to them!  I think they call it a diet! :)

Ok your next stop should be Madison Funky Cards...I can't wait to see what she'll come up with!  If you get lost along the way, the list is right here for to get back on track!

  Enjoy!

***Big Problem,  I updated my computer today and now all my writing programs (email, word , blogger) are not working properly!  Basically I have a hand instead of a cursor and it doesn't let you do anything like cut & paste, etc... I know it a setting that needs to be corrected, but don't know where!  If you have any ideas, please let me know***

"PROJECT A DAY" for the month of October, Day 10!

Good Morning!

Nicole from Canadian Nickel Scrapn was in a blog hop for Momo's Birthday this weekend, and while I was visiting Nicole's blog, she had "This is Halloween" playing.  I know it's from the movie the Nightmare Before Christmas, but it always reminds me of The Haunted Mansion at Disneyland during fall and into the holidays when they change it!  And to top it off, on Friday I got a Disney magazine in the mail, (I'm sort of a Disney freak) so I've had Disney on the brain!  So my card today is inspired from a picture in the magazine...the evil Queen with the apple for Snow White.  I hope you like!

Recipe:
Cricut Sampler cart
apple cut 3.41 x 3.94
shadow cut3.65 x 4.06
Happy Hauntings
ghost cut 10.39 x 7.55 ~ use only face~hide everything else, weld on apple
Martha Stewart punches
Stampin Up punches
Scrappy Mom Stamps
Paper: Bazzil, My Mind's Eye, Colorbok
Papertrey Ink ribbon
white pen
Stickles

Enjoy!
