Emma at My Creative Time is having another Throwback Thursday Challenge!

Happy 4th of July Weekend to all!  My weekend  seems to be flying by!  I'm not getting anything acomplished, but that's ok...I'm still enjoying it!  Emma's  challenge this week was to use "New Arrival" or older cart for a baby theme.  Well I don't have New Arrival, so I used Stretch your Imagination, Wild Card and Tags, Bags & More as my older cart.  I also used Lacy Labels.  I hope you enjoy it!

Recipe:
Cricut Cartridges:  Stretch your Imagination, Wild Card, Tags, Bags & More and Lacy Labels
Paper: Bazzill, Doodlebug, Rusty Pickle
Cutllebug: Swiss Dots
Peachy Keen Stamps
Chalk, Ribbon, Buttons, Staples, White Pen
Enjoy!

Throwback Thursday Challenge at My Creative Time with Emma

Hi Everyone!

I see that I have some new followers...thank you!  I hope that I'm able to keep you interested in coming back!  I would love to be able to see your blog too, so leave me a comment with your blog, so I can take a peak!  I have so much going on in my life right now, a few challenges that I'd like to do.  Have to finish 50 baby shower invitations by Sunday.  Graduation parties!  Oh and the biggest news of all  my oldest daughter is graduating from UCSD in a week...so that means a trip to San Diego...oh the things we do for our children...travel to a great place where the weather is usually perfect! ;o)  Oh wait I have bigger news...she had decided to stay there, so I don't have to give up my "paper loft"!  I'm grateful that the hard work I put in as a mother has paid off and I have an independant daughter, who wants to try to make it on her own even though she still has to get her Master's to get her "real job"!

Ok enough of my life... Emma at My Creative Time is having a challenge called "Throwback Thursday"  this weeks theme is using Animal Kingdom cartridge (if you don't have it, then it just has to be an animal).  I don't have that cart so I used Doodlecharms for the animal and shell and Stretch your Imagination for the leaves.

Recipe:

Cricut Cartridges: Doodlecharms, Stretch your Imagination
Paper:  Bazzill, Making Memoriest
Punches: Stampin Up, Martha Stewart
Stickles, Frost White Ink Paint, Silver Cord, pop dots

Enjoy!

Submitted to My Pink Stamper today!

Hi Everyone,

It's such a beautiful sunny day!  The pool still looks like a swamp, the pool man was back a second day to play with it some more...we'll see what it looks like tomorrow.  We did have some equipment trouble, but other than that, not sure why we let it get so bad...I guess I should blame on my "bug" since that's I'll I've been doing!  :o)

Anyway, submitted to MPS today, so there's no turning back now!  I'll show when I can.  But here are a few that I did, but didn't submit.

I used Accent Essentials cart with DS, Bazzil paper and scraps, SU stamp, craft ink and brads.

Doodlecharms, Plantin School, Strentch Your Imagination, DS, Bazzill, DCWV  and SU paper, stickles.

Wild Card cart and DS, Bazzil and SU paper, SU stamp and ink, stickles and rhinestones.

Jasmine, Storybook and Home Decor with DS, Bazzill and Me and My Big Ideas paper.

I hope everyone is having fabulous day!

Sunday Me Time!

Had some extra time today so I did some scrapbooking and a card.  Still trying to finish my youngest daughter's scrapbook.  She graduated last June and I'm still 3 years behind...my goal is to finish before this June.  I'd betted get to that instead of playing here!  :o)

I used Stretch your Imagination and Storybook cartridge.  Stampin up boarder punch.  Bazzil and DCWV papers. Stickles on the holly and berries.

Then I made a card for a friend that received an award from a local city for being an outstanding citizen.  She work for the local Senior Center and volunteers at a blind center.  She is one special person!

Stampin up stamp (retired I think), ink and blender pen and scallop boarder punch, Bazzil and CM paper, Target doller bin ribbon.

Enjoy!

I must be ready for spring!!!

Since Tuesday it's been close to 70 degrees!  I'm in a spring mood!  It's suppose to start getting cold again...this has been such a tease!  On Sunday when I did the MPS scrapbook challeng, I had cut a tree too small for the page.  Being the frugal scrapper that I am...I couldn't throw it away, so I made card!  I used Strech your Imagination cartridge.

The next card was an idea from MPS, I used doodlecharm cartridge.

The cards that I have been making lately are very simple, almost plain, compared to my ususal style.  I usually stamp more and use more embellishments.  I have been trying to do simple, but I feel they are always missing something.  Hmm, maybe it's time to go back to my old habits!    Enjoy!

my pink stamper scrapbook page challenge

I'm a little late to the game, but here is what I did for this challenge.  I have been a little brain dead with ideas, so I went snooping for some.  I found a card made be Teri Barrios on "Bitten by the Bug" blog and turned it into a scrapbook page.  I used Stretch your Imagination and Tags, baga and more cartridges, along with scallop border punch from Stampin up.

I love Christmas and my family, so that part was a no brainer!  Enjoy!
