My Creative Time 3D Wednesday ~ Let's Play!

 

Good morning my paper lovin' friends!  I hope you're having a happy week so far!  Today over at My Creative Time is 3D Wednesday!  Sometimes we on the Design Team are asked to use something specific and other times we can just do what we want.  Well today it's a free for all, as long as it's not a card or a layout!

 

 

 

This is a little crayon box that I thought would be cute for a "Game Night"!  I found some mini gel pens that fit perfectly in the box and cut in half some "post it" notes for score keeping.  I think it would also be fun to add a few sticks of gum and maybe some tickets for prizes.

 

You can barely see it, however I added a "mustache" under the game pieces and die!

Scrapping The Little Things ~ Stanford Footbal!

 

 

Today is Scrapping the Little Things with My Creative Time!  I'm still new to Project Life style of scrapbooking, however I really like it!  We were all asked to use the new Stitched Chunky Jar Die.  I knew instantly what pictures I wanted to scrap!

 

My layout is from a Stanford football game that my husband had found tickets on craigslist.  He texted me and told me he had found tickets for the game, but they were kind of pricey for a college game but they seemed like they'd be good seats.  I rarely care where we sit as long as I can get some nachos, I'm a happy girl.  :)  So we meet the guy for the tickets...you never know how that's going to go...he gets back in the car and hands me these plastic things on lanyards and a parking pass.  He tells me these are the tickets.  hmmm?  They say sky box on them, not really sure what that means for a college game.

 

So on our way we go, hoping that these are for real!  Well, they were for real, and we sat in the seats of a couple that donated well over 50 million dollars to the school.  Not only did we have great seats, but it came with a buffet, and all the traditional stadium food you could want!  We were definitely out of our element! 

 

 

We had so much fun that we are saving our pennies for season tickets for next season!  :)  I will journal all of this, even writing over the stamped football player!  However I need a new journaling pen.  :/

My Creative Time's 3-D Wednesday ~ So Lucky!

 

Hello!  Happy Wednesday to you!  Hope you've been enjoying your short week!  I was in San Diego earlier this week, spending time with my oldest daughter.  The weather was beautiful and the company was fabulous!    I'll be sharing pictures next week for "Scrapping the Little Things"!  :)

 

 

Today I have another quick project to share with you!  We were asked to make a container of some sort.  Of course I couldn't resist using Emma's newest die, the Treat Slider Box!

 

Of course I also can't resist glitter, so the shamrocks are inked and glittered!

 

The Treat Slider die is so easy to use, it really is a must have for any holiday treats or favors!

My Creative Time's February Release Blog Hop!!!!

 Oh my goodness can you believe that we made to Friday and you can order all the wonderful goodies!  This has been such a fun week sharing all my projects with you!  It really makes my day to read all the warm and sweet comments you leave for me!  My goal is to always inspire you to be creative!

Today's project is a little goodie bag made from a 4" burlap "ribbon".  I cut a piece about 10-12" long, folded in half and then the edges down, sewing down each side to create a pocket.

Red hemp makes the Stitched Button Die pop!

I really love the mix of glitter on the butterfly and the rustic burlap!

The "chrome paper" jar top was a gift from a friend...I just love it!!!

My Creative Time February Release Sneak Peek Day #3!

Good Morning and Happy Wednesday!  Welcome to day 3 of My Creative Time's February Release!  I can't believe we are already half way through the release!  Oh my goodness, can you believe how awesome this release is!!!!  I'm sure I say that every month, but I can't help myself!  They are always awesome!!!

 

 

Well today we are featuring "Chunky Jar Accessories" & the "Stitched Chunky Jar Dies"! I wanted to show just how versatile these two sets is and how well it goes with previous My Creative Time releases.  So I decided to show you just how easy it is to make Project Life style journaling cards!  Aren't these super fun?!



 

I love that the journal lines from "Cherish This Moment" fits the Chunky Jar Die perfectly!

 

Personally, I don't think you can ever have too much stitching on the dies.  Even the beautiful butterfly has stitching on it!

I rarely throw away my die cuts that I don't use.  I used the other half of the vellum doily to create this journaling card!

My Creative Time's February Release ~ Sneak Peek Day 2!

 

Oh Happy Tuesday!  And welcome back to day 2 of My Creative Time's February Release!  Don't you just love that BEAUTIFUL Doily Die, Stitched Buttons and the FABBIE sentiments that were shown yesterday!  Well if you liked that, just wait until you see today's sneak peek of..."Fun Tickets" & the "Fun Ticket Dies"!  

 

  Most of the ticket stamps have sentiments, however two are blank so you can choose what to fill them with!  I just had to fill the center's with Peachy Keen faces!

 

I'm so in love with these sweet tickets!  They are perfect with vintage or a boy's birthday!  I think I'm gonna be usin' these a lot!  lol!  Because my card turned out so "happy" I'm going to enter it in this weeks Peachy Keen Challenge ~ anything goes!
