"Newton's Nook Designs August Release" REVEAL DAY 1 ~ mermaid!


Good morning!
I'm so excited I finally get to share with you I'm Newton's Nook Designs August Guest Designer!  So I will have a several project to share with you through out the month.  I hope you enjoy them as much as I had fun creating them.

 Today is Revel Day 1 with Mermaid Crossing stamp set.  You are going to love how beautiful these mermaids are.


A quick coloring using Copic Markers, wink of stella, and glossy accents makes this sweet girl come to life.  Inside my shaker card is a little sneak peek of tomorrow's revel.  Can you guess what it is?

MCT April Release Blog Hop ~ believe!






Whoop Whoop, it's finally here!!!!  April Release Blog Hop for My Creative Time! 
 I'm going to get right to it :)

For this card I created a shaker card with a few twists...  The first twist is I made shrinky dink feathers for inside my shaker.  The second twist is my shaker is a see through window!


It's difficult to see I added wink of stetta to the feathers on the card base.  So in person the feathers have a little sheen to them.  My wink of stella was getting low so I added some water to the tube.  It really thinned it, maybe too much for most projects.  However not for this look, it was the perfect amount of shimmer!
