Home is Where the Heart is Blog Hop!

Welcome to KinderStampO's 'Home is Where the Heart is' Blog Hop sponsored by Unity Stamp Co. Grab a cup of something warm, sit back and relax as you visit 15 amazing designers featuring projects inspired by the theme 'Home is Where the Heart is'!

If you have arrived here from the super cool and chic Brooke,  then you are in the right place and I hope you are enjoying the journey. If you just stopped by to say hello and want to join the hop then click here to start from the top at Jess's "always teaching us something" blog!

Ok, I must admit...I don't have any Unity Stamps in my arsenal.  I know, crazy huh!  Well I'm sure by this time next week I will!  Since this a "Home is Where the Heart is" hop, I decided to make a project for my kitchen, because that's where the heart of our home is!  Oh and guess what!  I didn't even use my cricut for this project either!
Recipe:
12 x 12 travertine tile

because the design was exactly 12", I pulled the frame portion off so there would be a frame of the tile around the chalk board.
burnish the on the transfer paper, pull the backing off the back.  place the sticky side down on the tile.

burnish the transfer paper on the tile, really going over the edges.

pull back the transfer tape

voila!  a menu board for the kitchen!  and yes we did have corned beef and cabbage on st. patricks day!

Now for the best part, BLOG CANDY!

Love this idea! I want a chalk board in our kitchen/dining room, but I can't paint one on the wall (we rent), so this is a perfect idea! Thanks!
