MCT 5 Days of Christmas Day 3 ~ Sparkle!

Welcome to day 3 of My Creative Time's 5 Days of Christmas!  Didn't you just love all the wonderful ideas that the girls shared yesterday!  If you missed it you can click HERE to see.

Well today I have an upcycled project.  This past January, my daughter got married and we have a ton of these mock "mercury glass" votives (over a hundred) that I painted  :)
I decided that it would be fun to add a snowflake and use them on my Christmas table...not all 100 of them, lol!

I used the winter flake die, then stamped the background stamp for more interest.  Using glue dots to adhere everything to the votive.  I don't have to worry about the heat of the candles since I'm using battery operated votive.  (with the inside being painted, I didn't think it was smart to have a flame)

These are all silver, it's the reflection of the table causing it to look red.

Oh my Liz, this is beautiful! I love this idea and can't believe you have so many of these you painted left over. I think they would make a great advent calendar for adults by putting numbers on them and each night lighting the correct one. I also love that you stamped the snowflake with the script stamp, it looks fabulous! Hugs, Brenda

I love this votive! I think you need to do a video on how you made them! Never heard about them and if you've done 100 of them, pretty sure you remember how! LOL! I think your table will look awesome!
