MCT Thoughtful Thursday ~ have a brew-tiful day!

Good morning crafty friends!  Today is Thoughtful Thursday at My Creative Time, hopefully you will get some ideas from the design team. 

I randomly stamped the images with Memento Ink then colored them with copic markers. After heat embossing the sentiment I cut the banner and popped it up with foam tape.

MCT Whatever Wednesday ~ hello!

Happy Whatever Wednesday at My Creative Time.  This the day where we on the design team get to let loose and create!  Since I've been doing a lot of copic coloring, it was time to have fun watercoloring.

I first embossed with gold embossing powder then painted it with Distress Inks.  Next I die cut the "hello" in gold paper and 3 times in white cardstock and glued together.

MCT March Release Blog Hop ~ blooming birthday!

Hey Hey Hey it's blog hop day for My Creative Time's March Release!  Didn't you just love all the projects the past two days from the design team?  I know I sure did!

Today I get to share with you Tulip Frame Die, but I just couldn't stop there.  I decided to create a gift card holder using both of the new frame dies.

First I cut the envelope the cut a square window from it and also from clear cardstock.  Next I stamped the sentiment through the window then glued the clear cardstock on the inside of the envelope.  After the glue had dried, I completed the assembly of the envelope.  The last thing I did was to cut the frames and do a bit of paper piecing to decorate the flowers and then attach to the outside of the envelope.  For the gift card portion I cut a rectangle then stamped flowers with VersaMark ink and added the die cut holder.

Creating two at the same time was quicker than I thought.  Now I have gift card holders ready to go when needed!

MCT March Release Sneak Peek Day 2 ~ hello!

Yippee it's day 2 of My Creative Time's March Release!  I hope you enjoyed yesterday's sneaky peek!

Today I get to share with you the new Daisy Frame Die.  I'm so in love with this flower die, I can see this used for soooo many projects!  

I first cut the frame with white neenah cardstock and colored it with copic markers.  After I assembled the flowers and attached to the card I added Nuvo drops to the centers.

This was so quick...my kind of project!  :)

MCT March Release Sneak Peek Day 1 ~ get well!

Hello!  Today is Day 1 of My Creative Time's March Release Sneak Peeks!  Today we are featuring Tulip Frame Die and Springtime Smiles stamp set.  This frame die is so cute, it can be dressed up with lots of embellishing or kept simple.  I choose to do a simple silhouette.

On the background I did a watercolor "smoosh" effect.  Once dry I die cut the frame from the watercolor background and black cardstock.  This how I created the inlay look.

MCT Birthday Palooza ~ happy birthday!

Hi, I hope your day is going well so far!  Today is Birthday Palooza at My Creative Time, 

so it's party time!  

For my project I wanted one that could be used for either gender or age.

I used my Misti to stamp the sentiment on the white panel, then added the die cut balloon and stamped again.  I'm not sure I could have done this without the Misti.
