MCT Manly Monday ~ saw it was your birthday!

Hello, it's Manly Monday over at My Creative Time, so I have a fun "manly" card to share with you!

I used copic markers to color in the fun tool images and then added some Nuvo Drops for more interest.  For the banner I cut a small strip then used the edge of a die for the zig zag edge...easy peasy!

MCT September Release Blog Hop ~ let it snow!

Yippie, it's Friday and it's My Creative Time's September Release Blog Hop!  I hope you enjoyed this week's sneaky peeks, we have amazing crafters on this design team!  I get to share with you again the sweet Pocketful of Holidays stamps set!

For my card I first stamped and masked the trees and ink blended distress inks for the clouds.  I created a stencil with MCT cloud stencil (I'll show how I made in another post).  Next I colored the tress with copic markers along with the "elf".  The elf is really a witch, however I saw elf, so there you go :)

MCT September Release Sneak Peek Day 2 ~ just for you!

MCT September Release Sneak Peek Day 1 ~ christmas wishes!

Welcome to day one of My Creative Time's September Release Sneak Peeks! Even though this month we have only two days of sneaks, don't think that we don't have a lot to share with you! Today I get to show you Pocketful of Holidays and Pocketful of Holiday Sentiments set. This set covers Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Oh and there's a fun pocket stamp and die included! MCT Tag It Tuesday ~ shower with love!

***Disclaimer*** I've been using my iPhone to take pic's since my big camera died :(

Hi, happy Tuesday to you!  Yep you get to see me two days in a row and it's not release week!  :)  Today is Tag It Tuesday at My Creative Time but because I needed to make a card for a friend's shower I decided to make a card with a tag on it. 

It's really hard to see in the picture but I stamped a grid background with VersaMark Ink on the yellow panel.  I also stamped hearts with VersaMark Ink on the green banner.  

For the tag I stamped the umbrella with Distress Ink for a "not line watercolor" on watercolor paper. and colored it with Distress Inks.  Once it was dry I stamped the sentiment in VersaFine ink several times with a Misti to get a real crisp look.

MCT Made In Minutes ~ wicked halloween!

Howdy, today is Made In Minutes at My Creative Time!  I wasn't on the schedule for today but did a fill in for our Miss Nikki who has had to evacuate her home with her fur babies due to Hurricane Irma.  So I really had to due this card in minutes :)  Thanks to this fun stencil that came in My Creative Time's first monthly kit it was a breeze!

For the panel I ink blended a few colors of Distress Ink, then die cut the rectangle.  After die cutting the broom (3 layers) I added glossy accents to the handle and thin hemp.  An embossed banner and this baby is done!

MCT 3-D Wednesday ~ spooky & creepy!

Hi, happy September, today is 3-D Wednesday over at My Creative Time!  For today's project I made a 3-D card which was super easy and still fits in an A2 size envelope.

To create this card I first cut the base 10.25 x 4.25, then I scored it starting from the left (long side horizontal) at 1/2", 4 1/2", 5", 9  1/4".  Next I choose a square die to cut the window of one of the large scored area.  This will become the front of your project.

For the inside of the card I cut a 4.25 x 4.25 white square and ink blended the background for a creepy sunset.  Once I heat set it I stamped the tree and the sentiment.  The cute vampire and mummy were stamped then colored with copic markers.

After everything was dry I attached the background and creepers to the box card and glued the box shut.
