Winner Announced!

Hi Everyone!  I'm so sorry I didn't announce the winner from being a Guest Designer over at My Creative Time yesterday.  The reason being was yesterday I spent the day with my husband, sister in law and her husband in Yosemite, my first time too!  Born and raised in California and I had never been.  Can you believe that? 

We had a GREAT TIME!  We sort of planned a road trip to more national parks next summer/fall in an RV!  This is something I've always wanted to do!  I'm truely blessed that we really LIKE each other and love spending time together!

Ok enough of me, now on to the winner...

For today's project I wanted to use my cricut, I feel as though I hadn't really used it lately.  I knew I wanted to use the sentiment from EAD, so all I had to do is find a bee that I liked.  I found this bee on Pooh and Friends Cartridge.

I stamped the chicken wire first then used the XL Label to die to cut it out.  Also cut another one from a different pattern to have an offset mat.

After inking the wings I added a bit of chucky glitter.

Scrabble Tile Coasters!

Hi Peeps!

I have fun project to share with you today!  This is something you can do with the kids in an afternoon!  It's that quick and easy! 

*** I forgot to mention, I didn't come up with this idea.  I saw them on Pinterest with different words.  Then  I saw another set somewhere else (sorry I can't find the blog) with more "family" words.  I had to change some of them since I was trying to work within a true game set.

Welcome Sweet Baby!~ Card

Hi Paper Lovers! 

Hope you enjoyed 4th of July and that it was fun and safe!  Mine was perfect, the way I wanted it, just wish it had been longer!  Today I'm sharing with you a card I made for my Design Team Sister, Glora.  She and her husband welcomed a baby boy a couple of weeks ago!  I had to make sure she received it before I posted, I wanted her to be surprised.

Some of you have been asking how I attach my burlap.  It's really simple...just plain old glue stick.  Just make sure it's white.

It's hard to see, but I popped up the onesie, giraffe, and plane.

One of my cards wouldn't be complete without a bit of glitz, so I added some diamond stickles to the propeller.

My seam binding ribbon comes smooth, however I crinkled for this card.

I wanted to share with you a super cute gift card holder using little fabric bags and EAD's vinyl rub-ons.   Now as you can see in my video I had never tried this on burlap or muslin, but guess what it was really easy and quick too!
