Hey it's Day 4 of My Creative Time September Release Sneak Peek!  Today I have a super fun project to share with you.  I must confess, I had a hard time keeping the brownie for my treat sleeve...I almost ate it several times!  :)

Do you have a ton of pattern paper that you'll never use in your lifetime?  Maybe it's just me. :)  

Well I think this treat die is going to be the perfect way to use all that paper!

I stamped the fun ghost face on the tissue paper for a bit of whimsy.

MCT September Release Sneak Peek Day 3 ~ thankful!

Woot Woot it's Day 3 of My Creative Time September Release Sneak Peeks!  Hasn't this week been AWESOME so far!  Well I promise you will not be disappointed with today's projects either.

Today is all about the belly band...do you even know what that is?  :)  Well it's a band that wraps around something that can usually slide off.

I thought it would be fun to add the belly band to my card, but I also wanted the card to look pretty without the belly band too.  So I decided to stamp the sentiment twice.

There was a lot of making to create the layers of leaves and acorns.  After the stamped images were dry, I water colored them.

MCT September Release Sneak Peek Day 2 ~ happy holidays!

Welcome to My Creative Time September Release Day 2 Sneak Peeks!  

This is a HUGE set!  Seriously HUGE!  The four tags that I made to share with you only scratches the surface...I bet you think I'm exaggerating, but I'm not!

The first thing I did was stamp the navy stripe, next stamped the sentiment, then did the snowflakes.  It was quick and easy...my kind of crafting!

The "santa" layers are part of this set too, how fun is that!  Oh and did you notice the different shaped tags?  I didn't even show you all of them :)

MCT September Release Sneak Peek Day 1 ~ happy fall!

Good morning today is Day 1 of My Creative Time's September Release Sneak Peeks and I get to share with you, Happy Everything stamp and die set!  This is the set you've been waiting for!  Really the name says it all!

I'm going to get right to my card so you have time to see all the creative goodness from DT mates :)

To create the background I did a watercolor smash up...the only way to explain it is, I laid my paper on my watercolor palette and smashed it around then left it to dry.  After it dries I dropped water on it and let dry, then I sprayed it with shimmer and let dry.  Once it was completely dry I stamped my images.  The hardest part is being patient with the drying process.

MCT Thoughtful Thursday ~ congratulations!

Hi, today is Thoughtful Thursday over at My Creative Time!  This is kind of a broad theme, since it can be anything that's thoughtful.  Most will think of sympathy cards, however I think that congrat cards are super thoughtful too.  :)

This card I made for my niece and her fiance's engagement party.  I thought it would be fun to decorate like a postcard.

This card was super quick and easy to complete.  

I love that a simple card can still have a lot of impact.

MCT Made In Minutes ~ celebrate!

Good morning, today is Made In Minutes over at My Creative Time.  Since it's also Labor Day I'm not going to take too much of your time.  You have relaxing to accomplish!  :)

For my card I simply die cut the "celebrate" three times and glued together.  By doing this, it gives the die some weight on the card.

For my project today I wanted to play around with the new fun "BOO" die.  So I used black shrinky dink material to create the teeny "boo"s for the shaker card...I just LOOOVE my shrinky dink "boo"s!  Just so you understand the actual die cut is bigger.  
Dies are an investment, so get creative and think of other ways to utilize them!
Don't you just love how Dracky is hang down to scare you!

***Disclaimer***  
In person you can tell the "B" is a "B", the glare of the clear cardstock and glitter made it hard to photograph.

 

As you've probably noticed the "boo" has an exclamation point at the end.  I cut it off because there wasn't a way to keep the dot connected and it was awkward with keeping only part of it.  :)
