MCT April Release Sneak Peek Day 1 ~ spring!

Hello, My Creative Time's April Release Sneak Peak is here!  Are you ready for Spring?  Then stick around this week for all the cute spring designs.

For my projects I'm starting off with Water Can die, which just happens to be this month's freebie (rules apply).

After die cutting the stamp on watercolor paper, I gave it a quick wash of distress ink.  For the flower centers I added Wink of Stella and Glossy Accent.  I stamped the inside with a sentiment which I forgot to take a picture.  In fact I didn't take pictures of any of the inside sentiments for my projects this week, so hopefully you will see them on my DT sister's projects.

***Sorry, I've been a bit disconnected, while we've been working on
a rental house for the last few months***

My Creative Time

Extras
Papertrey Ink Cardstock
Bristol Paper
Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Sizzix Embossing Folder
Wink of Stella
Glossy Accents

On my next project I did some ink blending to create the square background and the "plaid" on Bristol paper.  Then I die cute the stem three times and the flower three times.  When I attached the last stem, I didn't add glue to the leaves and bent them forward so they would pop up.  Baker's Twine and few sequins and it was complete.

Both of your cards are gorgeous! my fav is the top one. I like your wink of stella and glossy accent centers, and like how you water splashed behind the watering can. The 2nd one I like that you made the flower 3 layers to make it stand out and leaving the leaves stand out and not gluing them down. adnilttoh@gmail.com
