MCT December Release Sneak Peek Day 4 ~ fill my heart!

Only one more day before the shopping begins for My Creative Time's December Release!  Today we are sharing with you Heart Love Note Dies. 

 I used one of the dies to create a see through shaker card.  That's right there is a window through the front of the card and the sentiment is stamped on the interior of the card base.

To allow enough room for the beads I doubled up the craft foam.

You can see how I finished the inside of the card with the window.

MCT December Release Sneak Peek Day 3 ~ valentine greetings!

Howdy it's day 3 of My Creative Time December Release Sneak Peek!  Today I get to share with you Chalkboard Valentines stamp and die set!  I think you're going love these!

For my card, I wanted to make a "gate opening" card.  So I used the "label" die included in the set to create a "flap" for the opening.

After I attached the flowers, I used wink of stella and glossy accents for the centers.  Also I corner chomped the corners with the 1/8th size (it's hard to see).  

Add a few sequins and it's done...easy peasy.  

You can see I used one of the sentiments for the inside of the card.  Are you wondering why I added a white die cut square inside my card?  It's because I like white on white...well yes and no.  It's really because I stamped the sentiment, then smeared it.  ARG!!!  I hate when that happens!  

So I die cut a rectangle and stamped again.  Mistakes can usually be fixed :)

MCT December Release Sneak Peek Day 2 ~ very special!

It's Day 2 of My Creative Time December Release Sneak Peek! Today I'm going to share with you "Love is in the Air" stamp and die set! I Looove this set of sentiments and this fun "heart air balloon" stamp!

This card was simple and quick to complete...my favorite!  Really not much to explain here...however I wanted the gold hearts to match the balloon embossing so I created my own gold glitter paper.  I used VersaMark ink on a scrap paper then heat embossed the glitter embossing powder.  Once it was cool I die cut the hearts.  After I attached them to my card, I added glossy accents for an "embellished" look.

MCT Trending Now: Let It Snow ~ joy!

Hi!  It's Trending Now over at My Creative Time, and today's theme is "Let It Snow"! 

 I chose to make festive winter card.

To create the tag background I ink blended on a white tag, then added drops of water and gold shimmer for interest.  On the wood snowflake I colored it with Wink of Stella for more shimmer.

MCT 5 Days of Christmas ~ reindeer!

GOOD MORNING my friends! Today is Day 2 of My Creative Time 5 Days of Christmas. This week my Design Team Sisters at My Creative Time are working on a treat this week for our “5 Day s of Christmas”. You will see tons of AMAZING ideas from tags, treats, cards, gift card holders, etc.... to get your holidays off to a “crafty” good start! We all hope you enjoy everything you will see this week!   

Today's project is a fun ornament that could be made by a group of kids.

This reindeer ornament took hardly anytime at all to make.

I used the circle die to cut out the spots for the candy canes.  This was truly the hardest part of this project.  :)

MCT 5 Days of Christmas ~ a gift for you!

GOOD MORNING my friends! Today is Day 4 of My Creative Time 5 Days of Christmas. This week my Design Team Sisters at My Creative Time are working on a treat this week for our “5 Day s of Christmas”. You will see tons of AMAZING ideas from tags, treats, cards, gift card holders, etc.... to get your holidays off to a “crafty” good start! We all hope you enjoy everything you will see this week!   

Today I have a gift card holder to share with you!

To create this swing card I cut one base in Charcoal cardstock, then cut half of the "pop out" card with pattern paper and glued together.  Then just add the gift card pocket to the back and decorate the front of the swinging portion of the card.  I also stamped the "words" stamp in VersaMark ink.
