Hello and welcome to my blog!  

Today is going to be special!  There's a group of us that are EAD Designs fans so we decided to inspire each other to use our goodies!  For those of you that don't remember, EAD Designs created vinyl stickers and rub-ons.  Awesome products but the company closed up shop over a year ago.

I have been hoarding them every since, I love doing these hops so I can play without the guilt.  :)

What all of our projects will have in common is that we are all using EAD Goodies and our challenge is:

Kid-Friendly cards for card drive.

Now you might think this card is a bit "boyish" for a girl and maybe so, but I thought of it more like...going to a far away place with one of her dogs.  A place where her imagination could take her when things are tough!

MCT Monochromatic Color Challenge ~ You Crack Me Up!

Happy Thursday, hope you're having a fabbie week!  Oh, and if you live in the Midwest to the east coast, I hope you're staying warm!  If you are sick of this crazy winter...not that we've really had one in California, take some time and enter the challenge over at My Creative Time!My Creative Time

The challenge is a Monochromatic Color Challenge : Make a project of your choice using different shades of just one color.  (You can use a different color as your base or background - white, black, kraft; just make sure your focal point displays your monochromatic color choice).

Cutting two banners behind the label die created the look of one long banner.

I stamp the background with the pattern egg stamp and kraft ink.  

If you've followed me for any length of time then you know that I never feel my projects are complete without a bit of bling, hence the glittered egg shells :)  Obviously I can't always add it, but I still want to! lol!  After adding embossing to the stitched circle die, I added the shells and put an action wobble behind the stitched circle die.  It's hard to see the movement in this picture.  I think I forgot to slow the speed down on my camera.  oops :)

Peachy Keen Stamps March Release ~ Hello World!

 Well we made it to our fourth and final day of sneak peeks at Peachy Keen Stamp March Release!  We hope that you’ve enjoyed the creations the talented design team sisters have brought to you.  We are SO excited to share the entire release with you that we can hardly wait for reveal time tomorrow!!  We’ll be back here with a SUPER inspirational blog hop and the new stamps will be revealed on our blog and available for purchase in the Peachy Keen Stamps Store.  The new stamps will go live at 6 p.m. CST. Same time as our blog hop.

Our first release for this month is a little smaller than usual, but don’t worry, because Kathy’s planning a mid-month release, so be looking for MORE new stamps a little later in the month.  Tonight, we’re having an Anything Goes night, which means our team  can choose ANY of the stamps from this release they’d like to share.  Be sure to check the PKS Blog for ALL the great samples from tonight’s team.

I can't help but LOVE these little chicks!  They are too stinkin' cute!  After coloring with copic markers, I added some glossy accents to the eyes and beaks.  OOPS...I just realized that i forgot to give my chicks some rosy cheeks!  LOL!  well, they're still cute without them.

 This next one is blurry on purpose...the chickies are on Wobbles!  Don't look too long it'll make your eyes hurt!  :)

MCT Made In Minutes ~ You + Me!

Hi everyone happy Monday!  Welcome to My Creative Time Made in Minutes.  Made in Minutes is still new to me and quite the challenge!  But that's what it's all about!  Right?!

So today I created "project life" style cards...

Sometimes as crafters, I think we are always trying to reinvent the wheel.  Well, I don't think we have to.  Or that making something cute and fun doesn't have to take hours!

So I decided to take pre printed cards that were in my 6x6 paper pad and added stamps and dies to them.  That way they were still one of a kind, yet they were quick and easy!

I simply cut out the cards, then carefully used the 3x4 journal die to get the stitching and round the edges.  Then adding a cloud or banner die and stamped sentiments, makes it my own!
