MCT 12 Days of Christmas, Day 7 ~ Table Setting!

Hi Paper Peeps! Happy Friday and welcome to day 7 of My Creative Time 12 days of Christmas! I hope you've been enjoying what my design teammates have been sharing with you!

Today I wanted to share with you a place card and napkin ring! Using My Creative Time stamps and dies make this so easy! For the most part I used scraps to create these!

To create the place card I cut two white tags.  Then I used scraps to cut a portion of the vintage cream paper and the red glitter.  More scraps were used for the mustache and nose.  Added a bit of chalk and white pen for the rosy cheeks!

I folded one of the tags in half and attached it to the back of the full white tag to create and easel.

To create the napkin ring, I added Canadian Pine Stems through holes I punched on both sides of label.

My Creative Time's 12 Days of Christmas ~ Day 3!

Hi crafty peeps!  Welcome to My Creative Time's 12 Days of Christmas Day 3!  I hope you've been enjoying what my design teammates have been sharing that past couple of days!  I know, I have!  Today I wanted to share with a fabbie treat bag that resembles chalkboard art!  Chalkboard art is so hot right now!  I've had a thing for chalkboards for along time.  I'm not sure if it's the black and white thing or just that it's sort of "old timey"!  Either way I love them, so when I came across a Betsy Veldman's blog showing this effect, I knew I had to do it!

Because I need to make 50 of these treat bags, I wanted to keep them simple and the price down.  So I used the stitched circle die from Build a Banner Kit to create a button!

This video shows the step by step process for this awesome look!

Wish Big Birthday ~ Card!

Happy Friday!  Can you believe that today is the last day of November?  I certainly can't!  And Christmas is just around the corner!!!!  Yay!!!! This year has flown by for me!

Today I wanted to share a card I made for my friend's birthday.  I used only dies for this card, I promise I haven't given up on my Cricut!  But I'm so in love with the lastest release from My Creative time!

Do you ever think after you've made something, that maybe you should have done something different?  Well, I think I should have turned the "all around birthday" stamp so you could read "birthday", even though I tilted it on purpose.

recipe:

Paper:
Papertrey Ink
Echo Park

Extras
Ribbon
Ink

I'm also entering this in the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #63!

Jinger Adams ~ Birthday Card!

Hi Everyone happy Monday!  I hope you've all recovered from your holiday!  Today I get to take over Jinger Adams blog and show you something I've created with her Gypsy Queen paper and trims!  I'm so excited to be able to share with you a card I made for my sister in law for her birthday!  I made it a monogram card for her!

To create my card I used my Cricut to cut the "L", frame, and oval!  Using Jinger's paper made it easy to coordinate all the patterns!

I used my Moroccan Cuttlebug folder for the embossing, and a coordinating stamp and die.  Jinger Adams feathers and gold trim just adds to the beauty!
