MCT April 24th Edition Release Blog Hop ~ Congrats!

Hi paper lovin' peeps!  Welcome to My Creative Time's April Release Blog Hop!  Remember that with our hops there are always wonderful prizes, so don't forget to read the details at the bottom of my post!  Can believe all the wonderful projects the girls have been sharing with you this week?!!!!  I'm in such awe of all of them!  Sometimes I still can't believe I'm actually on this design team with such fabulous talent!  I can't forget to mention how awesome Miss Emma is, with all of her wonderful ideas for stamps and dies!!!  It's always so exciting for me to see what she's come up with next!!!!

Anyway, I should get back to why you're here!  You should have arrived here Miss Kim's blog!  I just know she has something fabbie to show you!  If you just popped in to see me, well why thank you, but make sure you head over to Miss Emma's for the start!  You certainly don't have to comment on every one's blogs, however it does give you more chance to win!   :)

This card is made for my nephew who recently got married.  They gave her family about 5 days to plan (he's in the army).  Some of us friends and family are throwing her an after wedding, wedding shower soon.  I wanted to keep this card super simple (which if you've followed me for any length of time, is very hard for me!!!) since they both are a "no frills couple"!!!

I used the filament stamp from the light bulb die to make the heart and filled it with glossy accents.

This is my nephew and his new bride at the court house and then at their small reception!  They really loved the "no fuss no muss" day!

recipe:
My Creative Time

Liz's Paper Loft Boutique

Extras
ink
Papertrey Ink cardstock
glossy accents
