MCT Inspire Me Wednesday ~ hello!

Hello!  Today is Inspire Me Wednesday at My Creative Time.  While perusing through Pinterest, I found this fun wallpaper and thought it would make the prettiest card.  I love getting inspiration from unusual places!

To create my card I first stamped the flowers in navy ink, then used a versamark pen and white embossed areas of the petals.  It's hard to see in the pictures but in person it's really pretty. 

For the sentiment I die cut it three times in black and once in gold.  I also added nuvo drops for a bit more detail.

MCT Tag It Tuesday ~ baby shower bunny!

Hey, hey, hey it's Tag It Tuesday at My Creative Time!  For as long as I've been scrapbooking, I've had an obsession for tags...of any kind.  They are always perfect hanging on a wrapped gift or bag.  My tag today is for a friend's baby shower gift.

To create my tag I first stamped the bunny then masked it to be able to stamp the bottle and safety pins.  Next I colored everything with copic markers.  Like most of my projects, I added wink of stella, white gel pen, and glossy accents for detail.

MCT February Release Blog Hop ~ easter greetings!

Welcome to My Creative Time's February Release Blog Hop!  I hope you've enjoyed this week's sneaky peeks,  I know I sure have.  I'm so in love with the sweet "I'll Never Let You Go" stamp and die set that I had to do another project with them.

Since earlier this week I did a "no line watercolor" for my project, today I wanted to try "no line copic coloring".  Like I said in my Tuesday post, because it's so soft it's difficult to photograph...at least for me :)  It person it's a lot easier to see.

I first stamped in Fog then used 4 Copics shade to color the bunnies.  This card was really quick and easy...my kind of project!

MCT February Release Sneak Peek Day 3 ~ hoppy easter!

Whoop Whoop it's day 3 of My Creative Time's February Release Sneak Peeks and that means tomorrow the shopping can begin!  However before that happens you will need to see what I have to share with you today...Chunky Tag Dies.  

I'm in love with these tags!  Reason #1 is you can create a little scene on them, and #2 they don't 

have a hole at the top so you can use it as a background on a card!

On the tag I lightly ink blended the sky and grass. Then with the cloud stencil I added a little more blue.  The bunny, flowers, fence, and eggs were colored with copic markers.  This looks really detailed but it was really quick and easy.

MCT February Release Sneak Peek Day 2 ~ bunnies!

It's Day 2 of My Creative Time's February Release Sneak Peeks!  Today I get to share with you two new products.  The first is Cute Stitched Egg Tag Die and the coordinating stamps Egg Decorations.

Also I have two projects to share!

On the background I used watercolor paper, distress ink, perfect pearls and white acrylic paint to create the "galaxy".  Next I heat embossed the white zig-zag stamp.  If you look closely I stamped the polka dots on the egg with versamark ink.  

The bunny was colored with copics, then I added bit of wink of stella to the ears, belly and eggs,  Also I added glossy accents to the eyes, nose, and eggs.

For my next project stamped the leaves in fog on the white and blush on the pink.  A die cut bunny, butterfly, and grass complete this tag.

MCT February Release Sneak Peek Day 1 ~ big hugs!

Today is Day 1 of My Creative Time's February Release Sneak Peeks!  

Well I think you're going to fall in love with this sweet little set of stamps and dies.

For my card I started with stamping the image with Antique Linen distress ink to create the "no line" watercolor effect.  Next I watercolored the bunnies.  I felt it was way too soft, so I softly sketched the lines back in with a 0.03(very thin) Copic Multi Liner pen.   Wow, that made it POP!

The rest was very simple die cutting :)

MCT Birthday Palooza ~ hello birthday girl!

Happy Birthday to you!  Oh, just kidding, unless it's your birthday :)

Today over at My Creative Time it's Birthday Palooza, which means it's all about the birthday card!

To create my card, I first stamped the girl, then masked her (minus her right hand, the stamp has her holding a heart).  Then stamped the balloons and drew her right hand in.  I added a mask to both sets of balloons, then inked the "rays" background using a straight edge and distress ink.

After the background was completed I colored the girl and balloons with copic markers.  Adding white gel pen, wink of stells, and glossy accents makes everything pop!
