MCT July Release Sneak Peek Day 2 ~ love!

Hi, welcome to day 2 of  My Creative Time Time July Release Sneak Peek!  Wasn't yesterday's "sneaks" fun!!!  I am so in love with the new Stitched Sunburst Dies that I had to use it again today.  

Today I get to share with you the jar set. there are so many possibilities with the new set.  I made this card for a coworker for her bridal shower.  When you first see it you might think it's only for sympathy cards.  However I'm here to show you that it's for way more than that.  :)

I'm not sure why the colors aren't accurate, it's actually navy not black.  It's so much prettier in person.  :)

I used the Tag Layer Dies and Tag Dies to create this card, but if you know me then you know that I will change up the dies.  That's exactly what I did with the Tag Layer die.  With some creative cutting, I was able to make it thinner and shorter that the actual die is.  This created more background die to show.

I found this fun dotted border stamp in one of the older Easter sets, Hello Spring stamp and die set.  I thought it would be perfect for the sun rays.  The sentiment is from Wishing You Were Here stamp and die set.

MCT Inspire Me Wednesday ~ thinking of you always!

Good morning and happy Wednesday!  Today is Inspire Me Wednesday over at My Creative Time.  This feature is about taking the everyday things around us and how they are able to inspire creativity.  My project today wasn't inspired by any one thing but a place, Florida.

Since Emma has revised some of her favorite sets which includes some new dies.  It has reminded me of what sets I have and haven't used in a while, like the "all around" sets.  I mixed the newly revised "All Around III" with "Already Missing You" set.  I think is works perfectly together!

I colored the flower and flaming with copic markers then added a little wink of stella to the flower.

MCT Designer Challenge ~ happy birthday!

Hi crafty friends!  You probably have been wondering where I've been...or not.  :)  Well, I went on an extended vacation.  We started our vacation in Nashville for my daughter's college graduation.  Then we were off for Disney World, Bahamas, and Savannah!  I loved every minute of it (I'll post pic's later)

Well enough of me, lets get to the project at hand :)  Today is Photo/Color/Sketch Challenge over at My Creative Time!  This is the best challenge since you get to pick what you want to do.  

Whether it be the photo, color, sketch or all three, it's YOUR CHOICE!

I decided to use some of the colors and the sketch for my card.  I also used the Newly Revised My Little Firecracker set.  Aren't those teeny tiny chrome stars DARLING, they are part of the revised set!

MCT June Release Sneak Peeks Day 4 ~ a little something!

Well today is Day 4 of My Creative Time! June Release!  Hasn't it been a fun and adorable release!  All the projects have been FABULOUS!!!!

Today we are featuring the most darling "baby" stamps and dies! 

I stamped the sweet baby animals with a "masking" technique.  Once they were stamped I colored them with copic markers.  Oh I loove my copics!  After they were colored, I added chalk for cheeks and glossy accents to there eyes.  I just love those fun button dies too!!!  I stamped a cute sentiment inside, however I didn't get a picture of it, and I've already given this card away.  I had a baby shower two days after the anniversary party.  This release came at the best time for me!

MCT June Release Sneak Peek Day 2 ~ Let's Celebrate!

Welcome to Day 2 of My Creative Time June Release sneak peek!  What did you think of the girls projects from yesterday?  Amazing! Right?!

Well today we get to share with you this fun """""""" stamp and die set!  

My friends celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary last week.  So I was thrilled to pieces when this PERFECT stamp and die set showed up in the mail from Miss Emma!  Little side note...it's like Christmas every month when MCT Happy Mail shows up!!!

To create the window of my shaker card I used one of the new Doily Dies 

(saving the positive piece for another project)  I little embossing, wink of stella, and glossy accents put the finishing touches on my card.
