Tag ~ Special Deliver!

Hi paper peeps, I have a quick post to share with you today!  I've been having fun with my copic markers this past week, trying different techniques.

This little peanut is just ADORABLE, and I think I've made even cuter with subtle polka dots. :)

A little glossy accents to his eyes and bow tie finish him up.  Oh my goodness, I just realized that I never added his pink cheeks :(  Oh well, I've already given him away...

Happy Monday!  It's Face Day over at Peachy Keen Stamps!  I'm excited to share with you a fun and spooky card using Make a Monster Faces.

The skeleton face is from Poseable Skeleton and sentiment from Halloween Sentiment and Label.  Don't you love the purple eye shadow on the skeleton!

Almost no "peachy" face is complete without an Action Wobble...so I had to add one!  :)

MCT Scrapping The Little Things ~ Friends!

Hey Crafty Friends!  Well I thought with the start of October meant that fall was here...I was so wrong!!!  California has had another heat wave...will this summer ever end???  Which brings me to
today's feature, Scrapping The Little Things at My Creative Time!  Since I'm SO ready for fall, I decided to create PL style cards with fall colors.  We are also using a sketch for our layouts.

As you can see the sketch appears to be for a card, but don't let that stop you from turning it into a layout.  I used it to create one of my PL cards.

I stamped the flower image with a pale gray ink, then colored them with copic markers.  The pale outline gives it an almost watercolor effect.  I added some glossy accents to the center of the flowers.

I love using papers that appear to have layers to my advantage.  All I needed to do is add some hearts, a banner, and a bit more glossy accents.

Baby Shower ~ Mommy To Bee!

Hi, happy Friday!
I wanted to share a baby shower that friends and I threw last weekend.  Isn't that typewriter adorable!!!  My friend had it at the entry as a greeting...loved it!

The bee hive, honeycomb cake made the whole theme come together!  A friend made the cake :)

There is the mommy to bee!

The invitation and the games I made using my Silhouette and My Creative Time stamps and dies!  After printing the games, I stamped the "bee" for the Free Space.  We played 4 games, so I was able to print all the games on one piece of paper.  That way each person only had to deal with one piece.  My sister in law came up with that idea...brilliant!

For the favors I used My Creative Time stamps and dies, along with Peachy Keen background stamps.  Oh yeah and my Silhouette for the yellow banner.

She received so many nice gifts!

MCT Trending Now Thursday ~ grateful for you!

Welcome to the newest feature from My Creative Time, Trending Now Thursday!  This will be a once a month segment that showcases a trend.  While most trending things are new to the scene, that may not always be the case...who ever thought neon would be back so soon ;)

For today's hot trend we are featuring metallic gold...it's every where!  Fashion, home decor, and even paper crafting!  My project today is a card with gold leaves.

I LOVE the way the gold paper was beautifully embossed by the die!  For the "grateful" die, I cut it out four times and adhered them together for a more substantial look.

This was a super quick card with huge impact!
