MCT August Sneak Peek Day 2 ~ Love!

Good Morning creative friends, welcome to day 2 of My Creative Time's August Release Sneak Peeks! Wasn't yesterday great! I'm always impressed with how one small stamp set can add so much to all of your already owned MCT goodies! MCT August Release Sneak Peek Day 1 ~ Wish Big!

Happy Happy Happy!!! I'm so excited to be able to share with you My Creative Time's August Release. I hope you aren't confused since we had a mini release last week. This new release is all about revitilizing what you already have and a bit of extra artistry. This will make more sense as the week progresses :)

Inspiration Wednesday ~ Happy Birthday!

Hello, I hope your week is wonderful so far! Mine has been busy like usual, always self induced :)

Today is Inspiration Wednesday at My Creative Time, this is where we make a project inspired by anything. My inspiration is from a small jewelry box I saw online.

I first die cut a heart on scrap paper, then I used it as a stencil for the flower and leaf stamps.

Once I was finished stamping the flowers and leaves, softly inked around the heart before removing the stencil. Then simply added a few gold dots.

MCT Scrapping the little things ~ Think Big!

Hello! I hope you've had a restful weekend! My weekend was busy and relaxing at the same time. I got to shopping at some outlets with my husband, then meet some friends for a late lunch on Saturday. Sunday is always filled with church and lunch...then a well deserved nap in the afternoon! I'm really not a nap person, however I have come to really enjoy them on a Sunday afternoon :)

Anyway, today over at My Creative Time we are featuring a sketch for Scrapping The Little Things segment. I decided to work on my Smash Book that I'm making for my road trip that DH and I did the past spring. I did part of it on the road while we were traveling. I kept it really simple with postcards, stickers, and other memorabilia. Then I'm filling in with photos that I took with my iPhone. I want to keep this Smash Book very simple. At least that's my goal!

This was taken around Arizona and New Mexico. My husband says it was in Joe Dirt, but I don't remember, I just thought it was funny to see a bunch of big arrows! :)
