Happy Friday ~ Treats for my Sweet!

Hi Paper Players!  So sorry this is late!  I've been working longer than normal hours and trying to get new pretties added to my Boutique!  Well I finally had a moment to add BUTTONS and FLOWERS!!!  Doing something fun this holiday weekend?  I don't have anything planned, at least not yet, so I'll consider all invites!  hehehe
Anyway, I wanted to share this Halloween card.  Even though I love summer, I really LOVE FALL!  Which is kind of funny since in the bay area, we really don't have a huge fall season.  It's basically HOT one day and cold the next, leaves just fall off with little turning.  And that doesn't even happen sometimes till Halloween!  I dream of visiting a place where all leaves turn beautiful shades of yellows, oranges, and reds!  Ok, I'm making it sound like we don't have any of that, we do just not like the Midwest and east coast.

I covered the candy with the precut stickerz.

Mini Album ~ Boot Camp!

Hi Paper Lovers!  Happy Wednesday!!!
Today I have a mini album to share with you that I made for my nephew.  You see last week he finished basic training with the Army!  I couldn't be more proud of him!  My youngest daughter was able to make the trip to Georgia, along with his family to see his graduation.  Maybe this isn't new, but each unit has their own Facebook page, and they would post and tag different soldiers.  So we got to sort of watch his training!  So I just pulled the pictures from Facebook, quickly put this together, and she was able to bring it with her.
It's amazing how with two of My Creative Time Stamp Sets, I was able to complete this in a small amount of time!!!

For the most part I used My Creative Time's newest stamp and die set call "Just Simply Live"!

Who would of thought that these sentiments could be used for military pictures!!!

I also used "Happy Homecoming" stamp set.

Yep, that's right, he decided to be a lifer!!!

recipe:
Me and My Big Ideas
K & Co

I have to say it was very liberating to just let go and not worry so much about design and just "smash" it together!!!  And using the newest set from My Creative Time made is simple and fun!!!!

I'll be back on Friday with a fun "candy card"!

Enjoy!

Scrappy Monday with My Creative Time ~So Sweet!

Hello Paper Lovers!

Did you have a nice weekend?  I sure hope so!  I did a little bit of cleaning, just a bit :), did some crafting, and then went to out to the car races!  That didn't use to be my thing, but now I'm totally into it!  These is one driver that is 83 or so, he usually wins or is in the top 3!  My husband remembers #15 when he was a kid!  I think that is pretty cool!

Anyway enough of my ramblings.  heheheh  Today s Scrappy Monday at My Creative Time and I wanted to share a layout that I made of my girls and myself...many moons ago! :)  Yes, I'm rockin' a perm and bumper bangs...high stylin'!!
Just to let you know, the title doesn't look that busy in person:/

I used a embossing folder for the yellow paper.

Even though it looks better in person, I still may redo the letters.  If I do I will use the same size, I'll just use another color for the shadow.  :)

Recipe:
Alphalicious Cricut Cartridge
cut letters at 1.24 and shadow to match
Labels Cricut Digital
cut at 3.58 x 1.82

I'll be back in a few hours with another card to share with you!

Enjoy!

If you saw Monday's project then you know that before, and then after my shoulder surgery, my home had gone to shambles!  Even my cupboards were HOT MESSES!!!!  I knew that I wanted to use the cute little chalk-it tags at EAD to give my kitchen cabinets a makeover.  Then I found these perfect containers by Snapware and two cute old fashion sugar shakers!

My before picture, another embarrassing one!
Ahh so much better!!!  I still have room for two more short containers!

Aren't these so cute!!!

Home Decor Week Day 3 ~ Hallway Makeover!

Happy Wednesday!  It's already day 3 of my Home Decor Week with EAD Designs!  Today I wanted to share with you my hallway makeover.  I've never like what was going on with my hallway and my pictures.  Sometimes I would have a bunch of pictures, then one of my girls would take one, then I'd add some and so on, and so on.  Can you see the problem?  No rhyme or reason!

So this is the before, so blah...

This vinyl wall lettering has an overlay, it's applied the same way as what I've been showing you this week.  First find the placement with the first layer (family).
Follow the same step as yesterday's project.  Once you have your first layer, place the top layer with the backing paper to find placement.  Then repeat the same process.

It's hard to see in the picture, but the "family" is in slate and the "a journey of forever.." is in black.  See, I told you I didn't only use black.  hehehe

I took all my pictures and scanned them then turned them to black and white.  You can see that I haven't completely filled the large frame.

I have more pictures to hang and a lot of room to add more.  I love the continuity of black and white!

If you are needing some type of makeover or just a little decoration, go check out all the FABULOUS vinyl EAD Designs have!  Can't find what you're looking for, design it yourself in their custom design section!  There is something for everyone!!!

If you need to see a video on how to apply EAD's wall vinyl you can click HERE!

I'll be back tomorrow with a fun kitchen project and then on Friday with a cupboard/pantry makeover!

Enjoy!
