Fun At The Fair Blog Hop ~ First Place!

It's been awhile since I've been in a hop that doesn't have to do with any of the design teams I'm on! I have to say that it was a little stumped on what I would do for it. I really wanted to think out side the box, and I think I did! Of course when I was younger I thought the fair was all about the rides and the food! But now that I'm more wise, I know that it's about the "contests and the food"! So I thought it would be fun to decorate a jar of gourmet jelly and a make a card to go with it. Just as if I had won the "first" prize for the best jelly! (like that would ever really happen) Hey, in the blogging world anything can happen! :)

MCT Guest Designer: Liz and Blog Candy!

Hello Paper Lover and My Creative Time Friends! As I'm sure you know, Emma is by her son, baby Aaron's bedside while he is in the hospital. So her design team and other special guests will be covering for her. I'm sure you will love all the projects they have in store for you!

Today is my day to share with you! I wanted to make a card for "baby Aaron, however I wanted to use Emma's newest release and still make it "boyish". So here's what I came up with, hope you like.

Wow, it's been sometime since I've used my cricut and lots of pieces!

I added a wobble to the boy, every kid big and small loves a wobble! :)

And I used Peachy Keen Boy Mates for his sweet little face!

I had a bit of trouble with the red pen. When I added the glue for the glitter (yes I glittered his baseball...I couldn't help myself!) it smeared the red :(

I also glittered trophy :)

I used Fly Away With Me Sentiments and 2 1/2 burlap ribbon from my Boutique!

Hello Paper Lovers! Happy Friday to you! I just wanted to share with you the update on the new craft line from Jinger Adams, from Jinger herself!

Hi Everyone! I'm getting so excited! In a few weeks at CHA I will be unveiling my new product line and I can't wait to share it with all of you. The Scrapbooking Queen and I are going to do a UStream event, a big launch party, and my design team will have loads of amazing projects for you to see when it gets a little bit closer. But in the mean time I need your help to spread the word.

My Creative Time's June Release ~ Sneak Peek Day 2!

Welcome to My Creative Time's June Release Sneak Peek Day 2! I'm sure you were "blown away" by the design team yesterday! :) I know I was!! I'm so excited with My Creative Time's newest release, everything is just adorable and fun!

I also wanted to share with you that My Creative Time Stamps and Dies are not just perfect for cards, they're fabulous for layouts too! For today's project I made a layout for when my daughter graduated from college! Now you might think that the paper is a bit juvenile, but once I add the two pictures you will only see a bit of the number paper. So I think it will be fine!

I'm not sure what's going on with my pictures lately, sorry for the lighting!

I added a glossy accents on the water of the world and the letters for the title

after I added glitter on the stars, I punch two holes in two of the stars to create buttons

EAD Designs Color Challenge!

Hi Paper Lovers! Do you ever have one of those weeks where you just can't get it right? Well that's been me for awhile now! Last week I posted the color challenge a week early! OOPS! So if it seem like you've seen it before, you have. However, I didn't want to leave you with the same card, so I made another one! :)
Welcome to EAD Design Color Challenge! This month is all about the red, white, and blue! I decided to make a birthday card, I can never have enough of them on hand! I'm so excited to share with you this card because I got a new little sewing machine just for paper! I had used my big one before, but it was just that...too big. Then I've bought two other ones that I just couldn't get to work. Last week I decided I wanted to try another one, so I asked on facebook what everyone uses. A Janome Sew Mini was what I went with...I LOVE IT!!!

It's small, sturdy, and it doesn't go too fast. If I was sewing fabric I would want fast, but with paper I like it a bit slower, That's just my preference. Now on to my card.
