MCT Made in Minutes ~ thanks!

Hi!  I have a quick card to share with you today for our Made in Minutes over at My Creative Time!

I love when I get on the schedule for this because it helps me not to over analyze my card.  I just pick a few items and try to make it work.  Do you think it  made the cut? :)

MCT February Release Blog Hop ~ dragonfly!

A little watercoloring for the butterflies and dragonfly.  Once dry, I added wink of stella to the wings and glossy accents to the bodies.  VersaMark was used to create the curly frame...I love how VersaMark ink matches anything.

MCT February Release Sneak Peek Day 3 ~ birthday bunny!

Welcome to Day 3 of My Creative Time February Release!  Today we get to explore Favorite Bunny Stamp and Die Set.  I want you to know that this sweet bunny isn't just for Easter.  There are eight sentiments and only three are Easter related!  This makes me "hoppy"!  :)

For the background I used VersaMark ink and Wood Grainy Background Stamp.  Memento ink and Copic markers were used for the bunny.

Of course I had to add some wink of stella and glossy accents to ears, belly and tail.  Chalk and white gel pen was added to the cheeks.  As I was putting this card together, I realized that I hadn't used buttons or tried bows for a while because I was all thumbs.  :)

I used the middle stamp to create the pattern background and the smallest frame for the sentiment.

MCT February Release Sneak Peek Day 1 ~ thinking of you!

Hi, welcome to My Creative Time February Release Sneak Peek Day 1!  You are going to see some super cute stamps and dies this week.  Today I get to share with you Pretty Edge Dies, and pretty is RIGHT!  I know my Design Team Sisters will have some awesome projects to share with you also...but now on to my project :)

For the flowers I dropped bits of color on watercolor paper.  Once dry I die cut the flowers and leaves out.  Then I die cut the edges and attached the flowers.  I added some wink of stella and glossy accents to centers.

MCT Weird Holiday ~ umbrella day!

Hi, today the girls and I from My Creative Time get to share with you a weird holiday in February, I chose Umbrella Day 2/10!  So happy early Umbrella Day!

Yes, the elephant is light and hard to see, but in person it's better. :)

To create my card I first stamped the "heart raindrops" on the grey paper strip.  On Bristol paper I used the "stamp off" method to create the light lines for the elephant and umbrella.  Next I watercolord them with distress inks.

2/1 mct 3D Wednesday ~ heart bow box!

 

Hello, today is 3D Wednesday over at My Creative Time!  This feature has been updated from What a Treat Wednesday.  We wanted to be able to share with you all types of non card projects, so I hope you enjoy it!

I wanted to make a treat box for Valentine's Day to hold a few kisses.  

The bubblegum box is perfect for that!

I stamped the heart with versamark ink in a random pattern, then assembled the box and added the bow.  It really couldn't be easier than that.
