MCT March Release Sneak Peek Day 1 ~ get well!

Hello!  Today is Day 1 of My Creative Time's March Release Sneak Peeks!  Today we are featuring Tulip Frame Die and Springtime Smiles stamp set.  This frame die is so cute, it can be dressed up with lots of embellishing or kept simple.  I choose to do a simple silhouette.

On the background I did a watercolor "smoosh" effect.  Once dry I die cut the frame from the watercolor background and black cardstock.  This how I created the inlay look.

MCT February Release Blog Hop ~ easter greetings!

Welcome to My Creative Time's February Release Blog Hop!  I hope you've enjoyed this week's sneaky peeks,  I know I sure have.  I'm so in love with the sweet "I'll Never Let You Go" stamp and die set that I had to do another project with them.

Since earlier this week I did a "no line watercolor" for my project, today I wanted to try "no line copic coloring".  Like I said in my Tuesday post, because it's so soft it's difficult to photograph...at least for me :)  It person it's a lot easier to see.

I first stamped in Fog then used 4 Copics shade to color the bunnies.  This card was really quick and easy...my kind of project!

MCT January Release Sneak Peek Day 3 ~ i heart u!

Hi it's day 3 of My Creative Time's January Release Sneak Peeks!  Today I get to share with you the cutest heart tag that can be embellished for any occassion!

I decided to combine an older set using the monster with this sweet tag for Valentine's Day.  After coloring the monster and heart with Copic markers I finished them with glossy accents and popped them up with foam tape.  A few "dolly parton" hearts made with Nuvo Drops completes this darling tag!

MCT November Release Sneak Peeks ~ brew-utiful!

MCT 3-D Wednesday ~ milk carton!

Hi today is 3-D Wednesday at My Creative Time and have a cute treat box to share with you!

This is a must die!  One cut and your done!  I added a few cuts of pine branches and a Jr. Flower Die rolled into a pine cone.

MCT October Release Sneak Peek Day 1 ~ sweet treats!

Good mornin' it's day 1 of My Creative Time October Release Sneak Peeks! Today I get to share with you two projects using two different candy cane dies! I think you're going to love both of these!

My first project is a sweet card using the Stitched Candy Cane Background die which I used on the background panel of my card. I love how subtle it is, though you could water color it for a bold look.

For my second project I used the Sweet Candy Cane die on a tag. The background was stamped in VersaMark Ink using a Misti to make my life easier! :)

I added a bit of Glossy Accents too.

MCT Whatever Wednesday ~ sweet birthday!

Hi, I have a sweet card to share with you today.  Today is Whatever Wednesday at My Creative Time and that means that we DT girls can create whatever we want.  Most of the time I enjoy making something with a few guide lines.  But sometimes I really like to let whatever happens happen.  :)

For my card I first stamped with Archival Ink with a 2nd generation stamp.  Next I watercolored with distress inks.  On the cupcake I added Wink of Stella and Glossy Accents.

MCT March Release Sneak Peeks Day 4 ~ birthday wishes!

Welcome to Day 4 of My Creative Time March Release Sneak Peeks!  Today I get to share with you the Stitched Butterfly Die, which happens to be this month's freebie die (rules apply) and the Long Treat Box Die.

After die cutting the Long Treat Box I stamped the plaid design using Simon Says Stamp Ink.  A small rectangle die was used to create the window.  Copic markers were used to color the chick.  I added glossy accents to the eyes and beak, and a bit a chalk and white gel pen on the cheeks.

MCT Thoughtful Thursday ~ thinking of you!

Happy Thursday to you and welcome to My Creative Time's Thoughtful Thursday.  My card today could be just as it is, a "thinking of you" card or change the sentiment and it's a Thanksgiving Day Card.  

For the pumpkins and leaves, I stamped them with Archival Ink on Mixed Media art paper, then watercolored them Distress Ink.  Once they were dry I die cut them out.  For the tag I inked the edge with Distress Ink.

For the wood texture, I embossed a portion of the card base.  The sentiment stamp is actually one stamp.  I did a little masking to have part of it on the front and part on the inside of the card.
