MCT 3-D Wednesday ~ milk carton!

Hi today is 3-D Wednesday at My Creative Time and have a cute treat box to share with you!

This is a must die!  One cut and your done!  I added a few cuts of pine branches and a Jr. Flower Die rolled into a pine cone.

MCT Too Die For ~ baby!

Today is My Creative Time's Too Die For!  I know I've said before but this is one of my favorites because I usually get two cards done at the sametime. Very efficient!  :)

I simply ink blended on the background panel of the first card then die cut "baby" out.  (tip: put copy paper between ink blended side and cutting plates, so ink doesn't transfer and ruin another project later...lesson learned on my part).  Add "baby" to another card base.  Stamp both cards with stars.  A little copic coloring and it's complete!

MCT October Release Blog Hop ~ sweet holiday!

Hey hey hey it's blog hop day for My Creative Time! To create this card I first did a bit of "smoosh" watercoloring to create the background, then stamped the image and colored it with copic markers. The candy cane stripes have a tiny bit of wink of stella for interest.

MCT October Release Sneak Peek ~ holiday hugs!

Howdy, today is Day 2 of My Creative Time October Release Sneak Peeks!  I made a darling 3x3 card and envelope for today's project.  This card is the perfect size for gift giving!

For the background I use Distress Inks and a piece of acetate to create the lines.  Since the gingerbread image is tiny it didn't take much time to color her in :)  A little white gel pen, wink of stella, and glossy accents makes this sweet girl come to life!

I also stamped the image with VersaMark on the envelope to coordinate with the card.

MCT October Release Sneak Peek Day 1 ~ sweet treats!

Good mornin' it's day 1 of My Creative Time October Release Sneak Peeks! Today I get to share with you two projects using two different candy cane dies! I think you're going to love both of these!

My first project is a sweet card using the Stitched Candy Cane Background die which I used on the background panel of my card. I love how subtle it is, though you could water color it for a bold look.

For my second project I used the Sweet Candy Cane die on a tag. The background was stamped in VersaMark Ink using a Misti to make my life easier! :)

I added a bit of Glossy Accents too.

10/11 MCT Whatever Wednesday ~ better together!

Happy Wednesday to y'all!  Today over at My Creative Time it's Whatever Wednesday and it's just that...whatever we want to do!

This card required a lot of masking, ink blending, and coloring...which I'm really into right now. :)

I first stamped the images then used masking paper to cover them, then ink blended the background.

Next I made a stencil using the cloud die out of quilting stencil material.  Easy and fun to use with distress inks.  After the background was complete I colored the images with copic markers.  I always add chalk to cheeks with white gel pen, and glossy accents to eyes.  I think it gives them personality!

10/5 MCT Trending Now: Fall Harvest ~ thankful for you!

Happy Thursday to you!  Today is Trending Now: Fall Harvest over at My Creative Time!  Fall is one of my favorite seasons!  I just love everything about it, the crisp cool weather, hearty soups, and football.  Yes football :) it's the best thing to fall asleep to on the couch!

To create this card I first stamped with Memento Ink then colored with Copic Markers.  I die cut the edge and added some Nuvo Drops for a bit of texture.
