MCT Manly Monday ~ happy birthday!

It's Manly Monday over at My Creative Time and that means...I get to struggle with and idea!  hahaha  Not really, but sometime :)

I had some fun making the background with the "splat" stamps and then quickly colored the brush with copic markers and die cut it.  This really was a quick card!

MCT Thoughtful Thursday ~ thanks!

Howdy it's Thoughtful Thursday over at My Creative Time!  I had quite a few "thank you's" I needed to send from Christmas so this was the perfect day for me to be scheduled!

Even though I made four different cards, I only used two sets and the same ink colors which made this a quick and easy project.

Also using the MISTI, with the solid circle stamp allowed me to stamp the solid circle several times.  All I had to do was move the card panel side to side or up and down.  For the card below, I stamped the circle background but sort of messed up.  So then I decided to die cut the "thanks" out of it.  I think it ended up being my favorite of the group!

MCT January Release Blog Hop ~ xoxo!

Howdy, welcome to My Creative Time's January Release Blog Hop!  I hope you got a chance to see the sneak peeks the last few days.  This may be a small release but it's a fun one with dies that can be used year round.  Don't let the "hearts" fool you!

I get to share with you the XOXO Border Dies again.  I LOOOVE these dies, and even though they have an embossed "xoxo" border, I plan on using them throughout the year.

For the background panel I stamped the "lip" in a pattern with several colors of red and pinks.  I cut the panel with the largest rectangle die in the set.  I used fun foam behind the scalloped heart and cut several "xoxo" to give it more umph!

MCT January Release Sneak Peek Day 3 ~ i heart u!

Hi it's day 3 of My Creative Time's January Release Sneak Peeks!  Today I get to share with you the cutest heart tag that can be embellished for any occassion!

I decided to combine an older set using the monster with this sweet tag for Valentine's Day.  After coloring the monster and heart with Copic markers I finished them with glossy accents and popped them up with foam tape.  A few "dolly parton" hearts made with Nuvo Drops completes this darling tag!

MCT January Release Sneak Peek Day 2 ~ lots of love!

Hello paper friends!  Today is day 2 of January Release sneak peeks at My Creative Time.  I'm so excited to share with you these fun XOXO Border Dies.  I'm sooo in love with the detail of these dies!

To create these cards I used the stencil from January's kit, I Adore You along with distress oxide.  Next I put all four dies on the panel and die cut them.  I used two of the pieces for each card, and added the sentiments.  Popped some of the pieces up and my cards were finished!  Oh and I added a few nuvo drops.  :)

MCT January Release Sneak Peek Day 1 ~ woof!

Welcome to My Creative Time January Release Sneak Peek Day 1!  This All Die release is  the perfect addition to your "core" set of dies, that can be used over and over again.  Today I get to share with you More Scalloped Heart Dies.  I wanted to show you this isn't just for Valentine's Day.  

To create my card I first inked a 4.25" x 5.5" panel using a stencil I created with Fun Dies for the clouds and grass, then die cut it with the heart die.  The sweet puppy (one of my favorites) is colored with copic markers along with the hearts.  Also I fussy cut the pup out :)

MCT Whatever Wednesday ~ turtle wishes!

Happy Wednesday, today is Whatever Wednesday at My Creative Time!  I have a darling little birthday card to share with you.

Lately I'm all about the copic marker and coloring...it's such a stress reliever!  For the background I used Distress Ink, then stamped the water lines.  After coloring the turtle I added chalk for his cheeks and white gel pen highlight details.

I also attached an action wobble to the turtle.

 For my tag I stamped hearts with Memento Ink and copic colored them.  I added wink of stella to each of the hearts and stamped the sentiment with VersaFine Ink.  Oh and I added some Nuvo Drops for a bit more interest. :)

After ink blending with distress oxide and the stencil I added Nuvo Drops.  Next I cut a glitter "love" and a black one to layer for a shadow effect.

For my third card again I ink blended with distress oxide and the stencil, added a sentiment and sprinkled the silver hearts.  Easy Peasy!

MCT Throwback Thursday ~ being sick is ruff!

Hello and welcome to 2018 and welcome to My Creative Time's Throwback Thursday!  This new feature is where we will be using older sets in a new way.  Today I'm using Christmas Doggie, Live, Love, Bark, and Loyal Friends.

It's been a while since I've posted anything...I got to spend sometime with family and I loved every minute of it!  I hope you enjoyed your holidays too!

Once I stamped the dog I colored him with copic markers and attached him using an action wobble.  Also I added wink of stella to each of the bones.
