MCT Thoughtful Thursday ~ my thoughts are with you!

Hello, today is Thoughtful Thursday at My Creative Time.  I created a card that none of us really like to create...a sympathy card.  Like masculine cards, sympathy card can be difficult to do.  I really try to not make them to ornate.

For the background I stamped first with one color, then for the next color I went slightly over the first color and did the same for the next color.  Just as if I were ink blending, but with a stamp.  Using my Misti I was able to stamp the purple flower (I know it looks black) several times to get a crisp, solid flower.

MCT Too Die For ~ hb!

Happy Tuesday to you!  Today is Too Die For over at My Creative Time, this where we show different ways to get more use out of your dies.

To create this card I first die cut the "H and B", then with the Misti I was able to stamp the "happy birthday" in a repeat pattern.  Now had I been thinking ahead, I should have stamped first, then die cut the letters and used the "H and B" on another card...then I would have had two cards completed at the same time.  :)  I use foam tape to pop up the white panel and added some enamel dots.

MCT August Release Sneak Peek Day 2 ~ spooky & creepy!

Howdy, it's day two of My Creative Time August Release Sneak Peeks! Today is all about Halloween! I have the pleasure of sharing with you Spooky and Creepy Night stamp and die set!

To create the background I added a drop of Distress Ink Refill to texture paste over a Tim Holtz stencil.  After it was dry I added the paper pieces and the cute little jack-o-lantern on an action wobble.  How fun is that!

Hi paper peeps, it that time of the month again...My Creative Time August Release Sneak Peeks!  Today I get to share with you the new Large Scallop Stitched Rosette Die!  That's right we have a new size to play with!

I decided to make a favor for my project.  In the next month I need to make about 50 favors for my niece's baby shower so this was a test for that...her theme is "you're my sunshine". 

 I think it turned out super cute.  However I'm not sure I'll be adding those sweet tiny hearts to 50 of them.  :)

MCT Whatever Wednesday ~ sweet birthday!

Hi, I have a sweet card to share with you today.  Today is Whatever Wednesday at My Creative Time and that means that we DT girls can create whatever we want.  Most of the time I enjoy making something with a few guide lines.  But sometimes I really like to let whatever happens happen.  :)
