MCT Favorite Stamp/Die of the Month Redux ~ love is in the air!

Hi!  Today I get to share with you "The Sky is the Limit" stamp and die set for the "redux" Stamp/Die of the Month from My Creative Time.  This set is so SWEET and perfect for many occasions!

To create the "heart" strip, I die cut the heart die several times, then I placed a strip of red behind.  I colored the balloon with copic markers and added ultra fine glitter.

This bandage holder was so quick to create!  I simply die cut the envelope, bandage and hearts with wool felt.  You do have to use wool felt, regular craft store felt will not work with dies.  Then adhered with fabric glue.  I still might add some DMC floss stitching for "cuteness"!

MCT July Release Sneak Peek Day 4 ~ color my world!

Hey Hey Hey only one more day before you purchase this new release!  That's right tomorrow you can order the whole My Creative Time release!  But before you can I want to share with you "Paint the Town" stamp and die set, this set is both fun and sophisticated!  

First I heat embossed the "skyline" in white, then water colored the rainbow sky.  Lastly I tied the black hemp around the top before adhering to the card base.  I tried to keep my cards this week clean and simple, which if you know me is sometimes harder for me.  I'm an over the top kind of girl for most things in my life :)

MCT July Release Sneak Peek Day 3 ~ aloha!

Hello we are half way through this month's sneak peeks for My Creative Time July release!  Haven't you loved what's been shown so far?!  Today I get to share with you "Berry Special" stamps and dies, which is filled with fruit, faces and sentiments...a super fun set!!!

This card was so simple to create, by quickly coloring the stamped pineapple with copic markers.  Shading with a copic marker takes very little effort :)

MCT What a Treat Wednesday ~ it's a bridal shower!

Good morning today is What a Treat Wednesday over at My Creative Time and I have a quick project to share with you today that doesn't look quick and makes the receivers ooh and awe over. :)  First I have to give you the background story...you may remember that we had a flood in our home on Christmas Eve which took out almost our whole house.  It took us 4 months to complete and left our kitchen looking really shabby after everything else was brand new.  So I decided to revamp/update the kitchen with new appliances, however I also planned to give my friend's daughter a bridal shower.  Yes, I'm a glutton for punishment :)  I really didn't plan this right...all I have is a cook top!  How can I give a shower without an oven or microwave?  Well easy...an Ice Cream Bar and Rice Crispy Treats for a favor.  The treats took about an hour to make 25 or so, I was happy with that!  Now how was I going to package them?  Easy with MCT stamps and Dies.

After die cutting the labels I took 4 acrylic blocks and positioned the stamps how I wanted them for each color.  So for blue I did the "k&e", and so on for each color.  I only had to stamp each label 4 times, once for each color.  I did have to spend some time getting the stamps positioned so the flower centers were place correctly, however just once.  To do all 25, including die cutting was about 1 1/2 hours.  I think that's really quick.

I added some MCT rosettes to the flower arrangements.
