PKS May Sketch Challenge ~ Happy Boot-day!

Oh Happy Day, it's that time again for Peachy Keen's Sketch Challenge!  I don't know about you, but I LOVE using sketches!  There are those times when I need to make a card for a gift and I'm just stuck...then I pull up a sketch and creativity starts again!  :)

Aren't these gears great!  I found them in the Silhouette store during their 50% off sale...gotta love a bargain!  They are the perfect touch with my fabbie robot...

oooh and his face is just too stinkin' cute too!!!!  This set is from last year, yet it's still so current.

MCT April Release Blog Hop ~ It's Your Day!

Well you finally made it to My Creative Time April Release Blog Hop!  Hasn't it been a great week of sneak peeks!!!  I've loved everyone's AMAZING project!!!!  You should have arrived here from Emily's blog I know she has something amazing to share with you!

For my project today I'm using Build A Pretty Flower and Pretty Spring Wreaths sets!  All the pieces in this set are just FABBIE!  I love the way the stamps can be perfectly outlined or just with a bit more whimsy of not fitting perfect!  As you can see I like the "whimsy" look!  :)

After stamping the stems, I use markers to line them, then I added stickles to the centers of the flowers and glossy accents for the "dew".

MCT April Release Sneak Peek Day 4 ~ Happy Birthday!

Welcome to Day 4 of My Creative Time's April Release Sneak Peeks!  

What do you think of this release?  Isn't it AWESOME!!!!  You only have one more day before you can see the whole collection in it's entirety!  In some ways this week has gone by fast, however tomorrow can't get here soon enough!  :)  Today, we are showcasing And then some & Springtime in Paris sets!

For my project today, I used Springtime in Paris set, it just called for lots of layers and textures.  I think I may have accomplished just that! :)

After stamping and die cutting the Eiffel Tower, I added some chunky glitter (I just had to).  A bit of distressing with ink and tools gave my card the look I was wanting.  I love "worn" and "elegance" together!

MCT April Release Sneak Peek Day 3 ~ Friends!

Whew!  Can you believe it already Day 3 of  My Creative Time April Release Sneak Peeks!!!  I know that you've been drooling over all the projects from the other girls on the Design Team, just as I have!!!  Today the two sets that are being featured are Wishing You Were Here and Stitched Pretty Flowers and Leaves dies.  I'm showing both sets on my card.

The style of these dies are perfect for so many different types of projects.  Since there is stitching on both sides of the dies, they can be used to create a flower or a "hole (negative)" in the center of a card.  Emma is just SO smart!  :)

I love mixing and matching older MCT products with new.  Like the Vintage Stitched Label Dies, I think these new flower dies will be a staple for many projects to come!

I don't usually decorate the inside of my cards, however I couldn't resist it for this one :)

MCT April Release Sneak Peek Day 2 ~ Enjoy The Ride!

Hey Hey Hey it's Day 2 of My Creative Time's April Release Sneak Peeks!  Today we are featuring Way To Go and Main Street, you are going to LOVE LOVE LOVE both of these sets!!!!!  Oh, did I mention you will LOVE them!  lol!

For my card that I'm sharing with you, I used Way To Go set!   Isn't this bicycle soooo CUTE!!!  Oh my goodness, just wait until you see everything that comes with this set, Miss Emma out did herself again...I know, I always say that...but, it's true!!!!!

I thought the chain link embossing folder would look cool with the wrong side up...

I like the idea of the "subject" being interupted, whether on a card or in decorating, hence the bicycle being cut off.  It's just something that's appealing to my eye.  

After adding stickles to the center of the flowers, I covered the whole thing with glossy accents.

PKS Face Day ~ wishing you a happy birthday!

Hello!

Today is my day to take over the Peachy Keen Blog to share a project made with a face!  When I first discovered Peachy Keen (many moons ago), it was the faces that instantly had me...they're just too stinkin' cute!

This little boy is from KaDoodleBug Designs "You're A Star".  When you look at the cut you will notice that is a boy holding a camera.  All I had to do was not add all the camera caponents and then it was simply a box.  I added some star die cuts, gel pen, stickles, and a box.  Easy Peasy!

The face is from one of my favorite sets "Boy Mates"!  Oh who am I kidding...they're all my favorites!  :)

PKS April Color Photo Inspiration Challenge ~ Hello!
