My Pink Stamper- Father's Day Card Challenge

Hello Everybody!

I hope you are enjoying your Memorial Day Weekend!  The weather has finally warmed up!  Well I finally finished my Father's Day card!  I cut it out earlier this week, but just didn't get it put together...which goes to show you that sometime procrastination is a good thing.  Why?  Because, had I finished on Monday when I cut it, along with three other ones, I would have posted all of them, then I wouldn't of been able to use any for my My Pink Stamper's Father's Day card Challenge!  I'm not sure I would have been able to create another!  So here is my card:

Wedding Card with Paper Flowers

Hello Everyone!

I have been busy making cards this week...well...cutting them out but not completing them.  I had to make a card for a wedding today.  Got the present completely wrapped then realized that I didn't take a picture!  Ooops!  I'm so glad it was a bag...I was able to get into it with out ruffling up the tissue too bad!

I just love houndstooth!  And I'm very partial to black with any neutral!  Did you notice anything missing?  No stamping or cricut cut!  Anyway I hope the bride and groom like it too!

Just Because...I had to have it!

Hi!

Ok, so this is what happened...I'm minding my own business and I get a call from my friend.  She's in the parking lot of JoAnn's and says "I just got "Just Because" and "Give a Hoot" carts...they're on sale!".  (this is where I went wrong)  I said "oh I wish I would have known, I would've had you bring me one home".  Being the good BFF she says "no problem I'll go back in and call you back so I can tell what is left".  So here the real problem...I got "stage fright", she's telling me what's left...I manage to say "I'll take "Just Because", which is the one she just bought and I really want Give a Hoot, but she got that one also...see she lives across the street, so it wouldn't be prudent to get duplicates...and then I said " and Songbird".  Songbird?  What was I thinking...maybe Serenade?  Out of all the carts available...and I pick Songbird!  It's a nice enough cart, but I really didn't need another font cart.

Well here is a card I made with Just Because for a 3 year old that had his appendix removed last night.

It's been a while...

Hello!

Wow, I can't believe it's been almost a week since I've made anything!!!  Don't really know why I haven't done anything...except I decided to go back to the gym this week, since my should is almost back to normal.  Hmmm....crafting or the gym...I like crafting better!  :o)  Anyway I needed to make a card for the owner of the company I work for, other wise I still may not have made anything.

I 've been busy catching up on my youngest DD scrapbook!  Just trying to finish 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009...and then I will be finished!  She graduated from high school almost a year ago...I should have been done then! (btw, 2006 is now finished!) Here are some of the layouts that I've been working on...

My PInk Stamper is having a challenge!!!

Wow!  I can't believe it's been so long since I've made anything!  Well thank goodness I won Create a Critter cart (I just love it) from Nicole at CNS and MPS was having a challenge, otherwise who knows when I would post again!  The challenge is a color challenge with Gold, Green and Brown.

Nicole at Canadian Nickel Scrap'n is the BOMB!!!

I got it! I got it!!!  Create a Critter cartridge that I won from Nicole at Canadian Nickel Scrap'n just arrived!  Not only did she send the cart, but she filled the envelope with cards (awesome cards) for me.  When you make cards, you rarely get them from other people...so what a nice surprise!!!

I'm just going through the booklet now, but have to run some errands and then a doctor's appt, so I won't get to play for awhile.  :(

I just wanted to do a quick post before I head to work...

I think I have the best blogging buddies!  When I started this blog, I wasn't sure where I was going with it.  I think I just wanted a place to keep a record of what I made and see how my craft would evolve.  Never did I think that I would meet the wonderful women that I have.  Encouraging, helpful, sweet, funny...the list could go on!  And even though we've never met in person  (maybe that can happen), we do know about each others lives.  So I just wanted to take the time to tell you that I appreciate YOU and blogging wouldn't be the same with out YOU!

What a morning! What a fabulous morning!!!

Good Morning!

Wow it's been so long since I've posted anything!  Well, I've got some great news this morning!  First thing is I won a Critter Cartridge from Nicole at Canadian Nickel Scrapn.  She was trying to get 100 followers, well she has over 230 at this point and still growing!  She did this in less than a month!  If for some reason you haven't been there, go check out her blog and videos!  There are complete instructions for an "explosion box".  Then I also got a "this mom rocks" award from Lauren at Growing up Mommies , very sweet of them.  They are four mommies, trying to be the best they can in this crazy fast paced world we live in!  Go visit them, especially if your a young mom and need support!

Both of these things have totally brightened up my day!  Last Friday, while anticipating NSD and the upcoming MPS challenges...my body decided it had other plans for me and put me in bed for 2 days with the flu!  I haven't done anything creative since early last week!  So as soon as I get my "to do" list done, I'm off to do something fun!
