I don't usually use these colors together, so this was a challenge!  I'm really lovin this Straight from the Nest cartridge!  There are so many great images.

Pal Paper Arts Challenge PPA35 Cricut Home Decor and Storybook

I finally got to do some crafting this week!  Here is my design for the Pals Paper Arts challenge "Anything but a card".  I had so much fun with this project..I'm going to hang them in my bathroom.  I kind of have a King/Queen theme going on.  My daughter saw them and thought it would make a cute card for her friend, she bought her Juicy perfume for her birthday!

Beautiful Blogger Award! What a week! :o)

H Everyone,

I've had a really good week so far.  I haven't done any crafting, but between being picked for a challenge and now a beautiful blogger award, it's been really nice.  Thank you to Sonia at http://www.archiving-angel.blogspot.com/ for giving the award to me. Now part of getting this award is to write 10 things about myself ( not an easy task!) and then give the award to 10 other bloggers.  So get ready and think of things about yourself...I might just pick you!

Here are 10 things about myself:
1. I'm a Christian (serious stuff first)
2. I've been married for 23 years
3. I have 2 beautiful girls (who doesn't think their children are beautiful!)

Card Patten Sketch Challenge

Hi!

Here is another card that I did for another challenge. http://cardpatterns.blogspot.com/  I am off work for another week or two, so I've still been getting things done around the house and trying to fit in crafting when I can.  So these challenges are great for me, that I don't have to think so much!   My daughter has spring break next week so I'm going to see her.  She goes to school in San Diego, so a friend and I are going for SPRING BREAK!  I figure since my daughter graduates in June ( and I've been supporting her beach life style, she lives 10 blocks from the beach) that I might as well enjoy alittle myself!  I just hope the weather stays this nice!

Recipe:  Creative Memories, Martha Stewart and Stampin Up paper, Stampin Up stamp, ink, blender pen and punch, Michael's ribbon, Stickles, and Heidi Swapp paper cutter ( to rough up the edges)

The Challenge was to use something forgotten about, I hadn't used the paper cutter in along time!

Hi Everyone,

I hope all is well with your world!  Just an update on my Custom Crops order...hmm...well, it finally shipped yesterday.  By the time I receive it, it will have taken almost a month.  Now I know that when they have sales, I won't believe their shipping times.  When I place my order they said 3-4 business days for shipping.  Well they took 11 business days, in other words 2 weeks!  Yikes!  That's along time when you're waiting for a cart!  :o) OK...enough whining!  But you still gotta love their prices, so I guess it's worth the wait!

I did two challenges yesterday.  I hope you enjoy!

Sweet Treat Card

Apparently I'm in the mood for crafting!  My mind is running as fast as my nose is!  :o)  I'll probably make a couple of more cards before the night is over.  I need to work on a gift for my neighbor that's getting married.  I saw a bridal survivor kit on someone's blog, I can't remember who's at the moment.  When I finish it, I'll post mine and where I got the inspiration for it.

I'm sure most people are watching the Oscars.  I was just taking a break and decided to put up a few cards I did earlier.

Card for a little friend!

I made this card on Sunday.  A little friend of mine came home from church to find her bird had died.  When I gave her the card, her face lit up (she's only 11) and she gave me a big hug!  It's so hard to loose a pet...

It's such a beautiful sunny day!  The pool still looks like a swamp, the pool man was back a second day to play with it some more...we'll see what it looks like tomorrow.  We did have some equipment trouble, but other than that, not sure why we let it get so bad...I guess I should blame on my "bug" since that's I'll I've been doing!  :o)

Anyway, submitted to MPS today, so there's no turning back now!  I'll show when I can.  But here are a few that I did, but didn't submit.

Obsessed with Scrapbooking give away!

I had a great time working on cards yesterday...have to get a little housework in today.  :o(  Then back to fun!  Right after the pool man fixes my swamp, I mean pool!  Even though it's still raining cats and dogs now, we could have spring/summer conditions in a couple of weeks.
