MCT June Release Sneak Peeks Day 4 ~ a little something!

Well today is Day 4 of My Creative Time! June Release!  Hasn't it been a fun and adorable release!  All the projects have been FABULOUS!!!!
Today we are featuring the most darling "baby" stamps and dies!

I stamped the sweet baby animals with a "masking" technique.  Once they were stamped I colored them with copic markers.  Oh I loove my copics!  After they were colored, I added chalk for cheeks and glossy accents to there eyes.  I just love those fun button dies too!!!  I stamped a cute sentiment inside, however I didn't get a picture of it, and I've already given this card away.  I had a baby shower two days after the anniversary party.  This release came at the best time for me!

MCT June Release Sneak Peek Day 2 ~ Let's Celebrate!

Welcome to Day 2 of My Creative Time June Release sneak peek!  What did you think of the girls projects from yesterday?  Amazing! Right?!
Well today we get to share with you this fun """""""" stamp and die set!

My friends celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary last week.  So I was thrilled to pieces when this PERFECT stamp and die set showed up in the mail from Miss Emma!  Little side note...it's like Christmas every month when MCT Happy Mail shows up!!!

To create the window of my shaker card I used one of the new Doily Dies
(saving the positive piece for another project)  I little embossing, wink of stella, and glossy accents put the finishing touches on my card.

MCT Made In Minutes ~ happy birthday

Happy Monday morning my crafty friends!
Today is another Made In Minutes over at My Creative Time.  I love this segment since it gets me to use the extra cuts they I might have otherwise thrown away.

Last month I had created a birthday layout that had lots of balloons.  Well I didn't use them all so after I was done with my layout I quickly created this card.  I think that's what this "made in minutes" is all about.  What a concept...create a card while you have all the pieces out...DUH!

I die cut the "happy" in glitter paper and foam then attached together.

MCT Inspire Me Wednesday ~ refuse to sink!

Good Morning!  It's another Inspire Me Wednesday over at My Creative Time.  The card I made for today is actually inspired by two things.  Colors and theme are from the picture below, the layout and gesso technique are from a class I took earlier this year.

First I stamped the white lines in the background using gesso onto watercolor paper.  Don't let the gesso dry on your stamps, clean immediately.  Once the paper was dry, I watercolored with distress ink.  I was really that simple to create this card!

MCT What A Treat Wednesday ~ thanks a latte!

Good morning, today is What A Treat Wednesday over at My Creative Time!
I hope you've had a warm beverage of something to start your day...if not you can join me with my style of "joe"!

I used the lollipop die to cute the pattern paper and a doily.
For the "latte"  I cut it about three times and attached to each other, then added wink of stella and glossy accents.

Do you know how hard it was not to eat this lollipop?  lol!

MCT Inspire Me Wednesday ~ starfish!

Today is Inspire Me Wednesday at My Creative Time!  This CAS card was inspired by the home decor item.  I love to get inspiration from unexpected things :)

Exclusive Italian marble tile with a Star Fish design in the center of our wine cork board. Tumbled Italian Botticino Marble Tile (4

To create the "tile" I attached several squares of Bristol paper together, then "embossed" the starfish die.  I created a masks to ink the starfish and background.  After I completed the inking, I heat embossed with clear embossing powder over the whole tile several times.  When I thought there was enough layers I did one more and added a tiny bit of fine gold embossing powder before heat setting.

Adding the gold thread, sequins, and glossy accents completes my card.

MCT Scrapping The Little Things ~ sand castles!

Hello crafty friends, today is Scrapping The Little Things over at My Creative Time!  This is the perfect way for me to get my pages completed.  Whether you do traditional or pocket pages, My Creative Time Stamps and Dies can help you make them darling!

I've left a couple of squares empty for journaling (my least favorite part to do).

I used the water color stamp to create the sand and sky background.  This was originally going to be a title square, but now I might journal on top of the stamping since it's so light.

A bit of second generation stamping then one heat embossed to create the "sand castles" square.

Papertrey Ink Cardstock
scrap paper

copic marker to color pearls
